"It is too!" I cried exasperatedly.

Maggie
I laughed and shook my head. "Not always. But you got the good ones on your first day," I said, chuckling quietly.

Chelsea
I laughed and rolled my eyes, seeing that this would soon turn into one of Jen's irrational over-reactions. "I'm not gonna kill you through tickling, Jen."

Daniel
"I guess I did," I said, nodding and smiling. "Dinner's nearly ready, Daniel, tell your sister," my mum called from the kitchen. I rolled my eyes and stood up, bringing Megan donwstairs after persuading her to wash felt-tip pen and bit of playdough off her hands before dinner.

I sighed heavily and put a hand to my chest. "Oh, what a relief."

I watched as he went, standing and going to the kitchen where his mom was.

Trying to write Daniel's mum into Daniel's bit is confusing for me, so she gets her own bit :DD Her name is ... DELILAH.

I looked up and smiled as Daniel's friend, Maggie, came into the kitchen. "Hello, dear. Do you want to sit down? I'll serve dinner in a minute," I said, nodding at the small, four-seater table on the other side of the open-plan kitchen/dining room.

Daniel
I ended up carrying Megan downstairs because she's a lazy, immature child who can wrap me around her little finger. I set her down at the bottom of the stairs and she ran off into the kitchen. I followed, but walking, because I'm not eight.

Chelsea
I laughed again. "I bet. I mean, I was this close to tickling you to death," I said, showing a tiny measurement my thumb and finger.

"Oh, you know I love you really, Jen," I laughed, leaning over and giving him a hug.

Daniel
I went and sat down at the table, where Maggie and Megan were already sat. Megan was going on with herself as usual. I caught Maggie's eye and grinned.

I saw Daniel's grin and replied with a smile, small and somewhat bashful, since I was currently surrounded by his unfamiliar, warm family, whose matriarch was currently putting food on the table. "Thank you," I said quietly, smiling again.

Jenny
I grinned and hugged her super tightly. "I LOFF YOU TOO CHELSEA-WELSYYY!"

I nodded and smiled at Maggie and sat down. "Okay, everyone has knives, forks? Yes? Alright," I nodded.

Daniel
"Thanks, mum," I said, picking up my knife and fork and starting to eat.

Chelsea
I laughed, keeping hold of Jen. "You're so silly."

I put down my fork once I had finished eating.

Jenny
I grinned at her cheesily. "And don't you forget it."

Daniel
Everyone eventually finished eating and my mum started to clear the plates away. Usually I'd end up washing the dishes, but she wouldn't make me if I had a friend over.

Chelsea
I nodded and yawned, letting him go. "Let's go watch t.v," I said, wandering into the livingroom.

Jenny
I followed her, eventually passing her and hopping over the back of her couch, sprawling out.

Maggie
I sat until it seemed everyone was getting up, standing.

Daniel
I stood up and stretched, checking my watch. "Hey, Mags, it's about 7. Do you need to go home?" I asked, remembering her saying something like her mum got home around that time.

Chelsea
I sat down on the tiny space by Jen's feet that was left after he sprawled on the couch and curled myself up like a cat, which was my favourite way to sit.

Jenny
I chuckled and pulled my legs back a bit to give her more room, nudging her with my foot. "Are you comfortable?" I asked, grinning.

Maggie
I nodded, frowning. "Yeah, I probably should go soon." I glanced out the window, where I could see the glint from my car in the moonlight.

[leeeeeeeah]

Chelsea
I looked at him over my folded arms/knees. "Yes, yes, completely comfortable," I said, laughing. "I'm used to you taking up all the room," I said, rolling my eyes.

Daniel
"I'll, uh, walk you outside then," I shrugged, walking into the hallway. I heard my sister and mum say goodbye to Mags as I quickly slipped my shoes back on.

Maggie
I quietly said goodbye to Daniel's family, smiling and waving as I went out the door. "They're really nice," I said, turning to Daniel and smiling.

Jenny
I pouted. "I'M SORRY! Here, more room!" I said, curling up into a ball.

Daniel
"Oh, they always are when there are guests," I grinned, chuckling. "Well, I'm very glad to have met you today, Mags," I said, smiling at her.

Chelsea
I laughed and stretched out. "Thanks a bunch, Jen," I grinned. I sat up, cross-legged. "Shouldn't you be getting home soon?" I said, pointing to the dark outside the window.

Maggie
I laughed, fingering the keys in my pocket. "It was really nice to have met you today, too, Daniel."

Jenny
I sighed heavily and looked outside. "I guess."

Daniel
There was a little bit of awkward silence, and then I cleared my throat and spoke. "So, I'll see you at school tomorrow?" I said.

Chelsea
I smiled. "Don't worry, Jenny, you can come over again tomorrow if you want to," I said, rolling my eyes.

Maggie
I nodded. "Tomorrow. D'you guys need a ride to school?" I asked, glancing at my car.

Jenny
I grinned again. "Coke and cookies again, please?"

Daniel
I shrugged. "If it wouldn't be a problem for you, sure," I smiled.

Chelsea
"Of course, of course," I nodded, grinning. "What would a trip to Chelsea's house be without coke and cookies?"

I thought for a minute. "A trip to Chelsea's house without Coke and cookies would be a trip to Chelsea's house without Coke and cookies."

Maggie
I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Of course it wouldn't be a problem."
