I laughed and rolled my eyes, seeing that this would soon turn into one of Jen's irrational over-reactions. "I'm not gonna kill you through tickling, Jen."
Daniel
"I guess I did," I said, nodding and smiling. "Dinner's nearly ready, Daniel, tell your sister," my mum called from the kitchen. I rolled my eyes and stood up, bringing Megan donwstairs after persuading her to wash felt-tip pen and bit of playdough off her hands before dinner.

I watched as he went, standing and going to the kitchen where his mom was.

Trying to write Daniel's mum into Daniel's bit is confusing for me, so she gets her own bit :DD Her name is ... DELILAH.

I looked up and smiled as Daniel's friend, Maggie, came into the kitchen. "Hello, dear. Do you want to sit down? I'll serve dinner in a minute," I said, nodding at the small, four-seater table on the other side of the open-plan kitchen/dining room.
Daniel
I ended up carrying Megan downstairs because she's a lazy, immature child who can wrap me around her little finger. I set her down at the bottom of the stairs and she ran off into the kitchen. I followed, but walking, because I'm not eight.
Chelsea
I laughed again. "I bet. I mean, I was this close to tickling you to death," I said, showing a tiny measurement my thumb and finger.

I went and sat down at the table, where Maggie and Megan were already sat. Megan was going on with herself as usual. I caught Maggie's eye and grinned.

I saw Daniel's grin and replied with a smile, small and somewhat bashful, since I was currently surrounded by his unfamiliar, warm family, whose matriarch was currently putting food on the table. "Thank you," I said quietly, smiling again.
Jenny
I grinned and hugged her super tightly. "I LOFF YOU TOO CHELSEA-WELSYYY!"

"Thanks, mum," I said, picking up my knife and fork and starting to eat.

I laughed, keeping hold of Jen. "You're so silly."
