Right as I put my phone away it began to go off. I looked at the screen and winced as I answered it. "Hello?"I asked. My dad began to go off at me on the phone, yelling about how much of a horrible son I was and that he wanted me to die. My face grew red because I was sure that Marly could hear this because he was so loud. "Dad-"but I was cut off as he kept ranting.

I couldn't really tell what was going on, but I hard a lot of screaming, yelling, and profanities. I looked at Jordan, concerned, as the phone call progressed.

I sighed and closed my eyes, breathing in through my nose and out. "Dad, I'll see you when I get home,"I said and with that I ended the phone call. I knew I was going to pay for that when I got home but Marly was standing next to me and I really don't want to explain to her what is going on.

I chuckled as I walked in behind her,"Thanks,"I said rolling my eyes. "Well since I haven't been that bad of a friend, how about we hang out after school?"I asked, hoping she wasn't that mad at me. I led the way to the nurse's office cause my arm was starting to sting now.
