Playing For Keeps, Not Cheats. (Taylor's story)

Ryan,
I couldn't help but let out a laugh, "Call the cops? Really? You couldn't do anything if you tried. Taylor came to me, like I said, I give people what they want, and I give people what they deserve," I said through my teeth.

Taylor,
I was sick of letting him walk all over me, sick of having to put up with his shit. "Stop it!" I screamed as I looked at Ryan with blazing eyes. "I didn't fucking come to you. You raped me Ryan. You screwed my life up. I am not yours, and I sure as hell never will be," I shot as I punched him in the face. I took him by surprise as he looked at me, slightly stunned. I had never punched anyone before, and I knew I had punched him hard, his nose was bleeding. Apparently that didn't fly with him because he punched me right back, sending me to the ground.

[lauren.]

Reed;
I was shocked by what just happened but once Ryan's fist touched Taylor's face, I was on him. I first punched him in the gut then the face, sending him to the ground.

Taylor,
As Reed beat up Ryan I grabbed my cell phone, dialing 911. I quickly told them the situation as I hung up, slowly getting up off the ground. I felt blood dripping from my nose as I wiped it onto my hand.

Ryan,
I threw punches back at Reed, a little winded from his punches. "You think you're just a pretty boy huh Reed?" I asked angrily as I punched him. Out of nowhere I heard sirens as two cops came into the house, pulling me off of Reed as they placed handcuffs on my wrists. My eyes shot over to Taylor, "You're a fucking bitch Taylor Carter," I spat.

[lauren.]

Reed;
I sat on the ground as I placed my hand against my forehead wincing and felt blood coming from my nose. I glared at Ryan as the cops took him away.

Taylor,
I talked to the cop, telling him everything that had happened. The would contact the cops back at home, because they were the ones responsible for it. I told them that we would be okay before they left. I went over to Reed, kneeling down next to him. "Are you okay?" I whispered. I had never seen him like that before.

[lauren.]

Reed;
I was quiet for a moment as I looked at her,"I'm fine,"I said quietly. I took her head softly in my hands,"We need to get you cleaned up,"I said as I looked into her eyes then got up slowly.

Taylor,
I got up after him, my breathing hitched. "I've never punched someone in my life," I said as I looked at him. I felt a few tears run down my cheeks as I wiped them away. I was done with Ryan. I hated his guts.

[lauren.]

Reed;
I shook my head,"You actually did a good job,"I said chuckling softly but winced from the pain against my forehead. I got a wet wash clothe and handed it to her.

[haileyjordan]

Taylor,
"Thanks," I said softly as I dabbed the washcloth gently on my nose. I looked over at Reed. "What you said earlier, about me still being with him, I'm done with that. For good," I said as I looked back into the mirror.

[lauren.]

Reed;
I got a wash clothe for my nose also,"Though you know he's not done though,"I said quietly as I looked at my forehead in the mirror

Taylor,
I chewed on my lip as he said those words. "I know," I said quietly. "I just have to be more prepared. What I first need to do is tell my parents. They still don't know about what happened that night," I said. "I'm just scared to."

[lauren.]

Reed;
I reached over and rubbed her back gently,"There's nothing to be scared about. Once he's on jail, you'll be better off,"I said as I wiped some blood off her cheek.

[haileyjordan]

Taylor,
"I guess you're right," I said as I looked over at him. "I just feel like I've disappointed my family. My parents raised me to do the right thing, and I haven't been living up to that. I guess they just don't want me following their path. I met my dad when I was seven," I told Reed. I never told anyone this, not even Kaylee. I ran my had through my hair, looking at my black eyed, bloody nosed face.

[lauren.]

Reed;
I let the water run as we finished cleaning up and let the clothe soak. "What do you mean their path?"I asked a little.confused. I've met Taylor's family, use to spend time there after school sometimes with Taylor and Kaylee. Her parents seem crazy for each other.

Taylor,
I sighed as I looked at him, "I guess you could say I was a one night stand. My parents met each other in Vegas, drunkenly got married and then my dad just left my mom, not realizing I was in the making. My mom hated his guts for seven years. Then he found out about me and then became part of my life," I said. I chewed on the inside of my cheek after telling the story.
