Playing For Keeps, Not Cheats. (Taylor's story)

Taylor,
I looked over at her and shrugged, "Hanging out," I slurred as I rested my head back
onto the pillow. "I dunno." I rubbed my head as I groaned again. "I don't see what the
problem is."

[lauren.]

Kaylee;
"The problem is, is that he is giving you drugs and is a bad influence. I don't even know when you started hanging out with him. He's a complete douchebag! He's going to end up forcing himself on you one of these days,"I said crossing my arms and huffing.

[haileyjordan]

Taylor,
My eyes immediately opened when she said that. Bringing that up was the only thing
that actually woke me up from the drugs. My stomach turned in a knot as I sat up. "I need to go home," I said abruptly as I stood up, walking towards the door.

[lauren.]

Kaylee;
"Oh no you don't,"I said grabbing her arm,"If your parents see you like this and that you're not at school, they'll kill you,"I said making sure she was seated once again.

Reed;
I watched as Taylor for up but Kaylee stopped her. I moved over towards the door to make sure she didn't need to leave at all.

Taylor,
I felt the tears in my eyes again. I was thinking about it, and I
couldn't stop. "I need to leave," I said once more as I stood up,
though I didn't move. The tears slid down my cheeks as I made
my way back over to the door.

[lauren.]

Reed;
I quickly went over to Taylor, touching her arm gently,"Taylor just sleep here for awhile at least till school is out then you can head back home,"I said almost pleading. I didn't want her to get in trouble.

Kaylee;
I stood back watching them. Reed was such a good guy and I didn't know why she was after... Ryan.

Taylor,
I looked at him and swallowed, then slowly walked back over to the couch, chewing on my cheek. "You guys should be at school," I said quietly as I looked at the floor, not making eye contact. I wasn't tired, just weary. I don't think that I was ever, or planning on telling Kaylee about what had happened. I hated bringing it up.

[lauren.]

Kaylee;
"Screw school ,we're not leaving you here to run away,"I said rolling my eyes as I sat down next to her and propped my feet up. I turned the tv on and yawned.

Reed;
I sat down on the love seat and watched Taylor. I needed to talk to her alone, to see what was really going on.

Taylor,
I rubbed my eyes and wiped my leftover makeup on my pants. Running away did seen like a good idea at the moment. Maybe I'd do that tonight. I looked over at the two, then back at the tv. I was risking their futures just because I was I was wasting mine. They deserved better anyways.

[lauren.]

Reed;
My parents had sent me out to go get some groceries for tomorrows dinner we were going to have. I mean come on, it's seven at night. I rolled my eyes as they pretty much begged me to go, not to mention that they wanted me to get ice cream for them. Taylor had gone home once school had ended, but I'm pretty sure she didn't really go home.

[haileyjordan]

Taylor,
I was sitting in Ryan's backyard with him and two other of his friends. I had a cigarette in my hand as I leaned against Ryan who had his arm wrapped around me. They were talking about some big pot party they were going to, which I wasn't really focused on.

Ryan,
I looked down at Taylor, squeezing her shoulder. "You're coming, right babe?" I asked her. "I uh," she rambled as she chewed on her lip. "I wasn't planning on it." For some reason that made me upset. "No, you are going," I shot at her. I sort of shoved her a bit as she looked at me in shock. "Maybe I don't want to," she growled at me. "Are you fucking talking back to me?" I yelled as I sort of punched her in the face. "Don't ever fucking do that again." I smacked her across the face again before I shoved her hard into the ground.

[lauren.]

Reed;
Everyone pretty much knew me in this grocery store. I use to work here before I got a better pay as a mechanic. I was stopped quite a few times by the workers as I was shopping. Seemed lke this thirty minute shopping trip might take over an hour. Great.

Taylor,
I was stunned at how he flipped out on me, and also in great pain. I knew I was going to have a black eye. "Oh my God Ryan," I said quietly as I stumbled to my feet. "I need to go." I quickly made my way out of his backyard and ran to my house the best I could. I bit my tongue to keep myself from screaming due to the pain. I felt the blood dripping down my back but I ignored it as I quietly crawled into my room through the window. My parents were out tonight but the babysitter was there with Alex. I grabbed a backpack and threw some clothes and a few necessities, grabbing all the money I had. I worked past my tears as I went back out of my house and down the road sobbing and hurt. My face was pulsing. I reached under to shirt to feel my back and when I pulled my hand back out there was blood on it. "Oh God," I said.

[lauren.]

Reed;
I finally finished up at the grocery store, yawning to myself. I started the vehicle up as I began loading the groceries into the back.

Taylor,
I really didn't know where I was going, but I was going away from here. I slid my hood on over my head and gripped my backpack, sniffling as I wiped my eyes. It was my fault for being there, but for some reason I couldn't stay away. I made my way into town as quickly wiped the blood on my hand onto my pants. I was planning on walking until I needed to sleep.
