Alaska,
I smiled softly, then looked down. "What happened? I mean with Tessa and well...who you used to be with?" I asked quietly.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I let out a small breathe and nodded towards the living room,"Lets go sit down,"I said, not really wanting to tell her but knowing that it was to come up sooner or later.

Alaska,
I slid off of the bar stool as I made my way into the living room, taking a seat on the couch. I just couldn't not know any longer.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I took a seat on the couch, resting my arm on the back of it. I sighed softly as I glanced at her then the couch pattern. "Emily and I had dated for probably three years. One night we got careless and she became pregnant,"I glanced at her,"But not with Tessa. We were going to have a son first,"I said letting out a shakey breathe. I ran a hand through my hair,"Emily had a miscarriage halfway through the pregnancy. Emily never even wanted to have the child so sickly she was somewhat happy about it but still had nightmares." I glanced out the window to make sure Tessa was okay. "Five months later she told me she was pregnant again and wanted to have Tessa adopted. I couldn't understand why she didn't want to have children. Of course I wanted to keep the baby but she wouldn't listen. She had all the papers signed and ready for a willing couple all behind my back. I finally told her that I wanted to keep the baby and I wouldn't let her push Tessa off to another family. We argued but it was final. Emily didn't even want to see Tessa after she was born. Or either me. I couldn't understand why she hated me so much when before the miscarriage we were so happy with each other. I came home with Tessa to a house half empty. Apparently Emily had her family come gather all her things from the house, which they took some of my things but it's whatever. I didn't even end up staying in that house. I wanted to start new. Tessa and I,"I said sighing as I looked at Alaska. "So we moved here. Five states away from Emily,"I said with a small chuckle. It all did hurt, opening that wound back up, but Alaska needed to know

Alaska,
Okay so that was quite a story. I bit my lip and looked down, trying to mull the story over in my head. I then looked back up at him, "Do you still love her?" I asked. I knew that I shouldn't have asked, but I needed to know.

Kolton,
I looked down at my lap then back up at her,"I've never been asked that but no, no I don't. Not after how she acted throughout everything,"I said running a hand through my hair.

[haileyjordan]

Alaska,
"I'm really sorry for what happened. That must have been very hard," I told him softly. I couldn't imagine any of that every happening to me. I did feel a slight form of jealous deep down, but he said that he didn't love her anymore, I had to trust him.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I shrugged slightly and gave her a soft smile,"It's been six years. I'm pretty much over it. You've got tone able to move on from your past,"I said reaching over and squeezing her hand.

Alaska,
I gave him a reassuring smile, "That's very true." I said. "You've done a great job of raising her Kolton. I'm really impressed." I looked into his glistening eyes. They were sparkling lakes. I couldn't take it.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I smiled and flushed slightly,"I love her so I want to raise her up the best way possible,"I said staring at Alaska. I was glad that I shared this with her.

Alaska,
I leaned forward and gently kissed him, "Well whatever you're doing is working," I said as I gently pat his cheek with a smile.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I smiled and shrugged,"Thanks,"I said as I took her hand that patted my cheek. "Have you heard from your dad yet?"I asked.

Alaska,
I sighed as I sat back, "He's called me at least a dozen times," I told him. "I really don't know what I'm going to do about it. I just don't want him calling a search team or anything." I ran my hand through my hair, not wanting to think about it.

Kolton,
I pursed my lips at this,"You'll have to answer his phone calls sooner or later. And I don't want him calling a search team either,"I said chuckling nervously.

Alaska,
"I'll call him soon enough. I just really don't want to think about it right now," I said. He was going to verbally attack me. That would be pleasant. I kissed Kolton gently, "I don't want to worry right now."
