Alaska,
I smiled at him, "It's very nice to meet you," I said. People were still dancing around us, and the atmosphere was just perfect. I turned my head slightly and saw Cody, my ex, with a few other people who looked official. I saw him glance at me, which made me panic. "I have to go," I told him, "pleasure to meet you again." I smiled quickly before I disappeared through the crowd so Cody wouldn't see me.

Kolton;
"Wai-"But she was already gone into the crowd. I frowned slightly wishing she hadn't gone so quickly. I sighed and looked around before I headed back to the bar. Alaska. She was going to be on my kind for a long time.

Alaska,
I hated it. I hated not being able to just be free. I was constantly around people who could tell my father anything I was up to. I chewed on my lip as I thought of Kolton. There was something about him that gave me butterflies. I made my way through the crowd, heading back into the hotel. Because my father was constantly at work, I didn't have an actual home. The hotels were my home.

Kolton;
I wrapped the apron around my waist as I got back to work. I looked back out at the dance floor every once in a while to see if she would have slipped back in but it never happened.

Okay, hm. Do we want to wait for Alaska to meet
Tessa?

I think what we can do is have him waiter at a professional
meeting/party thing and she can be there. And he can ask
her to stay around after and they can talk and whatnot.
Because I feel like they should be really close before she meets
Tessa so it's like a shock to her. I'll start from the party thing.

I had on a thigh length dress, the back draping as I sat at one of the tables. I wasn't really interested in anything that was going on, I was only here because my father insisted on me going, and Cody was harassing me about it to. He only wanted to get closer to my father, to get more money.

Kolton,
I had to be a waiter at a party that was going on at the hotel. I would much rather be home with Tessa than being here. I moved from table to table asking for drink orders and also food orders when they were ready. I came to the table that the owner of the hotel was at, suddenly getting a little nervous. I didn't want to screw anything up and lose my job.

Alaska,
I didn't look up at the waiter as he came to our table. My father ordered his food and apparently mine also. I looked over at the waiter and realized who it was, which caused me to spill my water. "I am so sorry," I said as I attempted to pick up my glass, feeling my cheeks grow red.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I quickly grabbed a rag I had and cleaned up the water,"It's fine,"I said then soon realized that it was Alaska. It felt as if my breathe was knocked out of me as I stared at her. She was completely gorgeous. I cleared my throat as I finished cleaning up and took the rest of the orders.

Alaska,
I tried to play it off so my dad wouldn't wonder, but he was already raising an eyebrow at me. I bit my lip, glancing back over at Kolton. I had a feeling I would be seeing a lot of him now.

Kolton,
I made sure they didn't need anything else before I left the table and went back to the kitchen.i breathed in deeply as I have the food order to the cooks. Ah shit, her father is the owner of this hotelz

Alaska,
I didn't really talk much throughout the gathering. My father went up to talk about the new installments and whatnot. I looked around, just waiting for it to be over. Once the whole thing had finally finished and people began clearing the room, I stood up, getting ready to leave myself. I had already embarrassed myself enough.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I knew the gathering was over but I wanted to keep Alaska longer, just to talk. I removed myself from the kitchen and looked around. I saw her standing up about to leave. I cursed quietly and made my way around the people. "Alaska,"I whispered, hoping she'd hear me. I didn't want anyone she was with noticing me in case something bad would happen.

Alaska,
I heard a voice call my name and saw that is was Kolton. "I have a feeling you would like to go somewhere private," I told him, looking at him, then glancing away for a short moment. Even though I only knew his name I was drawn to him.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I smiled and nodded,"Meet me out by the beach around 8,"I said smiling at her. I quickly moved away as I noticed her father turn to speak to her. I headed back into the kitchen, hoping she'd show.

Alaska,
My insides melted as he told me that, and though I spoke to my father I had no idea what he was even saying. Once I was free and quickly went back to my 'room', eagerly awaiting eight o'clock. I stripped from my dress and put on a less fancy, summer dress.
