Alaska,
I turned back around to look at him, seeing the tears in his eyes. I had never see him cry before. I took his face in my hands. "Please don't cry Kolton. Everything's okay," I said quietly as I looked into his eyes. I had learned to suffer through it, because the more I screamed the more I was beat. I didn't want to look like I was weak.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I stared at her, shocked by what she said,"Alaska, everything is not okay. Have you seen how bad this is? That fucking bastard! How could he have done this to you? To his own daughter?"I said shaking my head.

Alaska,
I dropped my hands as he spoke, "I wasn't pleasing him. I wasn't his perfect daughter anymore. No matter what I did. It wasn't good enough." I said as I looked at the wood floor.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I lifted her face so I could see her eyes,"You are good enough. You are perfect. You're everything Alaska,"I said caressing her cheek. "We have to call the cops on him."

Alaska,
I felt my stomach settle when he said that. I had actually done something right. "Can we do it tomorrow? I'm so tired, Kolton." I said. I needed sleep. I was exhausted.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
"Absolutely. Come home. My home. Our home. Let me dress your cuts for you,"I said as I handed her shirt back. She could sleep while I did it, probably would be better to avoid the pain.

Alaska,
I nodded, "Okay," I whispered as I carefully slid my shirt back on. I got up off the floor, wincing slightly from the pain. I just wanted to be in bed with him.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I stood up and helped her out her jacket back on. "Lets go,"I said taking her hand gently, kissing the back of it. "Leave your car here. He might have out a tracking device on it,"I said as I opened the passenger door for her to my car.

Alaska,
I crawled into Kolton's car, sliding the seat belt over me. I leaned my head back, flinching as my back rested against the seat. I shut my eyes. I didn't realize how tired I actually was until now.

Kolton,
I started the car up after I buckled myself in. "We'll be home in a little bit,"I said taking her hand as I drove. I wanted to be able to have a hand on her so I know that she's actually here with me and I'm not dreamingZ

Alaska,
I held onto his hand tightly, wanting to feel safe. I kept my eyes shut the whole time, though I couldn't actually sleep. It was hard for me to just fall asleep, I always had to stay alert.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
"We're here,"I said as I turned off the car and breathed in deeply. I prayed the Tessa was asleep. I didn't want Alaska to have to deal with more than she already has at the moment. I squeezed her hand, kissing it. I got out and helped her out of the car, wincing every time she winced. It hurt me just as much as it hurts her.

Alaska,
I followed him into the house that I had missed all too much. I relaxed my muscles, knowing I wouldn't be hurt here. I swallowed, my legs growing weak from underneath me.

Kolton,
I was glad Tessa was awake. I quickly paid Carrie and closed the door behind her. I looked over at Alaska and quickly walked over to her,"Are you okay? Lets get you to bed,"I whispered as I held out my arm for her.

Alaska,
I held onto his arm as we made our way to his bedroom. I could have honestly fell asleep on the carpet and had been fine, but I wanted to fall asleep to his scent.
