I yawned as I leaned against the counter at work. I've worked at Garrison's Hardware for all four years that I have been in college. I've grown close with the employers and staff, and sadly will be leaving soon. I was going through some of the catalogs ordering things that Mr. Garrison needed by next week. Though in the back of my mind the meeting with Mr. Grey was still bothering me. He was definitely one cocky son of a bitch, but there was something behind that also. I'm just not sure what that was. I was a complete idiot in front of him, falling flat on my face into his office. I shook my head as I continued with my business, trying to get him out of my head because I know I will not be seeing him again.

Elijah,
I had my mind on Dahktoka ever since she stumbled into my office. I was determined to find her, to make her mine. I headed into Garrison's hardware, heading towards the checkout center, where my eyes rested on Dahkota. I smiled to myself, then made my way over to her. "What a pleasant surprise, Miss Britten," I said, my eyes fixated on her.

Dakota,
I froze as I stared down at the catalog. Of course I knew who it was. Who wouldn't know Elijah Grey's voice. I cleared my throat as I lifted my head, my eyes meeting his fierce gray ones. "Mr. Grey,"I said somewhat shocked,"What brings you all the way down here?"I asked trying to keep my voice steady and try to stay confident.

A small smile is played on my lips as my eyes lighten. "I just happened to be in the area. I need to stock up on some things," I said, my voice husky as I continued to watch her. "It really is a pleasure to see you again Miss Britten." The small panic in her voice was a bit humorous to me.

I bit my lip as I raised an eyebrow,"Down here? An hour away?"I asked somehow not thinking he was just here to stock up on a few things. I cleared my throat,"We'll can I help you with anything?"I asked. He made me nervous. Beyond nervous.

I pursed my lips as I looked at her, "Yes, I think you can. I need a few things actually, but first I need some cable ties," I murmured, my gaze still stuck on her. I had much use for the things I needed today...later on.
