We had put Taylor to bed and I was laying over the couch, my head
resting on Sam. "I really enjoyed today," I said quietly with a smile as
I looked up at him.

[lauren.]

I grinned as I looked down at her, running my hands gently through her hair,"I did too. It was a good day,"I said leaning down and kissing her lips gently.

[haileyjordan]

I smiled, "So, you going to hockey practice tomorrow?" I asked
with a grin. "I do like a man in uniform." I snuggled into him as
I looked at the tv.

[lauren.]

I chuckled and shook my head,"Yeah. I need to go. I've missed two,"I said wrapping my arm around her. I looked at the TV also. "Why don't you and Taylor come down to the rink and after practice we could skate?"

[haileyjordan]

"Really?" I asked, "I'd love that. I haven't gone skating in so
long," I added. "I'll seem like an amateur next to you," I giggled.

[lauren.]

I laughed quietly,"Well if you have done it before and you were good at it, it's just like riding a bike. You never forget,"I said smiling down at her.

[haileyjordan]

I smirked, "You'd be surprised Sam," I said as I rested on his chest.
I had this feeling that everything was going to fall into place. Sam was
proving to be a good man right now.

[lauren.]

I chuckled and rubbed her arm lightly,"I have missed you Hannah,"I said quietly. Honestly why I dated so many women was to find one like Hannah or better but it never happened.

[haileyjordan]

I looked up at him, "I missed you too Sam," I said quietly.
Well, half the time I was still hating him, but deep down I really
did miss him. I let out a sign, "Seven years really gives you time
to think about things."

[lauren.]

I nodded as I looked at the TV again,"It does. Though I wish it hadn't been that long,"I said running a hand through my hair.

[haileyjordan]

I sat up, chewing on my lip. "What did you do?" I asked,
"during those years? I mean it literally," I asked him. I just wanted
to know the honest truth.

[lauren.]

I didn't want to tell her but she needed to know. I sighed and sat up,"Well work of course and I've dated girls. A lot actually but it was because I was trying to find someone like you or better,"I said feeling bad thar I was telling her this. I didn't want her to hate me or tell me to leave her alone and things go back to those seven years. I want to be with her.

I felt my heart drop slightly when he said 'a lot' but I dated
also. "Most of the guys I went out with we're jerks. The minute
they knew I had a kid they wanted nothing to do with me anymore,"
I said looking down. "But I kind of got used to it."

[lauren.]

I looked at her,"That's stupid. They should have gotten to know her. She's a great kid,"I said shaking my head. "I'm sorry though,"I said glancing at her.

[haileyjordan]

I shrugged, "It's okay," I said as I ran my hand through my hair.
"It really doesn't matter anymore. I don't need anyone else," I told
him with a soft smile.
