I pulled into the hospital parking lot and hurried inside. I gave the
receptionist my information and went into the waiting room, staring
at the floor. "Please be okay," I said to myself. I sat in the waiting room
for about an hour and a half before the doctor came out. He came over
and told me he was in stable condition, but he was injured pretty bad and
it would take about two months to recover. "You can see him, he's waking
up from the anesthesia right now." "Thank you doctor," I told him as I
made my way into Sam's room, quickly wiping my stray tears.

[lauren.]

I felt nothing at the moment as I began waking up. I know that I just got out of surgery. I looked down at my arm in a sling, sighing. I rubbed my eye and looked over at the door as it opened. I saw Hannah step in and I smiled slightly,"Hey baby."

I smiled faintly as I came in and sat down next to him. "How are you feeling?" I asked
him, taking his free hand in mine. It didn't look very comfortable being all
cooped up in a cast and sling, I felt bad for him.

[lauren.]

I shrugged slightly but winced slightly,"I'm not in pain right now,"I said holding her hand tightly in mine. "It was just a little thing,"I said smirking

I scoffed, "Just a little thing? Sam you have a broken shoulder, that's
kind of a big thing," I said with a small smile. "I just know you're tough
enough to fight through it."

[lauren.]

I chuckled quietly as I leaned my head back against the pillow. "Of course. I just better be able to play hockey once it's healed,"I said sighing.

[haileyjordan]

"The doctor told me he wasn't sure yet," I told him as I chewed on my lip.
"That was a pretty nasty hit you took. He said it'll take about two months
to heal." I ran my hand through my hair, "It gave me a heart attack."

[lauren.]

I sighed but smiled a little,"I didn't give you a heart attack,"I said smirking slightly. I yawned and closed my eyes,"When do I get out of here?"

"They said by tonight, if everything is where it should be," I told him.
I kissed him gently, "I could never do what you do. I'd be too afraid,"
I smiled softly.

[lauren.]

I smiled as I pulled her back down to kiss her again,"Well if you have to do it then you have to brave up,"I said running my hand through her hair softly.

I smirked, "I enjoy planning weddings more," I said. "That means
I'm gonna have to take extra care of you," I smiled, patting his head.

[lauren.]

I smirked,"Now don't be too overly protective,"I said poking her side. I looked up at her and began chuckling,"Now we won't be able to have sex for awhile,"I sighed,"I don't know how I'm going to handle that,"I said winking at her.

I smiled and kissed him gently, "Mmm, I think we'll be okay
darling," I told him. "I don't wanna risk hurting you even more,"
I giggled.

[lauren.]

I chuckled and pouted my lips,"Aw, I'm sure I'll be fine,"I said smirking slightly.

I had been helping Sam quite a lot while he was healing, and I
never knew how much work it was to take care of a guy. I went
into our room and leaned on the doorway. "I picked up your medication
and dropped off your papers at the arena," I told him.
