I shrugged and said, "I don't care who's leaving. But, I am." So I turned and left.

Hollie
I frowned as he left. "Well...Should we, like...elect a leader or something? Like Mrs. Whitesand said?"

Aaron
I rolled my eyes and sat back down. Apparently there was only going to be four of us at the meeting if the other girl decided to leave too. "Sure. But it's not him," I said, jabbing my thumb in the direction that the guy had left.

Ivy
"How smart, Aaron," I said, rolling my eyes and taking a book out of bag to read so I could more or less ignore the others.

[lauren.]

Izzy;
I pulled my bag higher on my shoulder and began to follow that one guy, but Braxton held me back,"What's the big idea?"I grumbled as I tried to get away from him.

Braxton;
"You dragged my here forcefully, by the ear I might add, so you are not going anywhere,"I said crossing my arms as I glared a her. Izzy stuck her tongue out at me then took a seat on the bench, crossing her arms stubbornly.

Desmond
I went to my car and drove around, just to pass the time till five. Anything was better than sitting in that damn gym.

Hollie
I realized everybody else was sort of...not caring, and I wondered if maybe I was the only one who really cared about doing anything at all for the dance. I dragged a pen and paper out of my purse, sighed, and began jotting down ideas. Of course it would be a winter wonderland theme...It always was, every year. I just wanted this year to be different somehow...

Aaron
I just sat there, looking around at the gym. I would honestly much rather have been anywhere else. Even running laps. Seriously.

Ivy
I tuned everyone and everything else out, reading my book. All I was there to do was help decorate.

[lauren.]

Izzy;
I turned my body around so that I could lay on the bench, staring up at the ceiling. I grabbed my hat and placed it over my head, closing my eyes.

Braxton;
"Stupid teacher, leaving us here to do this on our own,"I mumbled , rubbing my face.

Hollie
I sighed, exasperated, and slammed my paper on the bench beside. "Okay, really? I know most of you don't want to be here right now, and even I was roped into this for extra credit because, really? Who the fuck cares about Hemmingway? But we have to do this so we might as well do it right!" I snapped, annoyed. Their apathy just really annoyed me.

Aaron
I jumped slightly when the girl slammed her paper and pen on the bench. I'd zoned out a bit. After she'd finished speaking, there was a silence. "Winter Wonderland theme then?" I suggested.

Ivy
I was completely tuned out to everything, still reading my book.

[lauren.]

Izzy;
I jumped and ended up falling off of the bench, onto my front side. I groaned,"What the hell,"I frowned.

Braxton;
I glanced over at the outburst of the lady. I couldn't help but chuckle and shake my head. I shrugged, if I was here might as well do something.

Hollie
I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair before crossing my arms over my chest in indignance. Back to my normal shyness, it seemed. "Of course, we'll do winter wonderland," I murmured to the boy who'd spoken, who I recognized by face but not by name. I knew all of their faces, but I'd never spoken to any of them.

Aaron
"Alright then," I said, nodding. "Who's er, 'leader' of this thing then?"

Ivy
As I got to the end of a chapter in the book, I tuned back into the conversation to find we were talking about actual committee things, so I listened to the conversation properly again.

[lauren.]

Braxton;
I glanced over at them,"I would say this chick,"I said pointing a thumb at Hollie.

Izzy;
I just stayed on the ground, listening quietly for once.

Hollie
I rolled my eyes, blushing at the other guy's insinuation of me being the leader, and said, "I'm assuming Desmond's out of the question, as he's run off. Should we vote or something?"

Aaron
"I vote you, girl who's name I don't know," I said, putting my hand in the air and smiling.

Ivy
"Me too," I shrugged, my voice sounding unnaturally quiet compared to everyone elses.

[lauren.]

Braxton;
I smirked and shrugged,"You know my vote,"I said looking around the gym. It was pretty huge to decorate, so we were going to need Desmond if he ever came back. Maybe Izzy can get her attitude on him.

Izzy;
"I'm good as long as it isn't me,"I said yawning as I got up and wiped the dust off my clothes. "This floor is nasty,"I said making a face.
