"Yeah, think I don't know that," I said, rolling my eyes as I looked out the window. Emily's car was outside. "Yeah, it's them."

I just locked my car and stomped to the front door, letting myself in. I let the door slam shut. "He's infuriating!"

I chuckled when she let the door slam shut before me, letting myself in behind her. "You offered to pick me up in your car, nobody forced you," I grinned.

I screamed again and scrambled up a tree. I ended up clinging to one of the thicker lower limbs with my entire body.

I doubled over laughing, putting a hand on the wall to steady myself. "Should we count to one?" I asked her, still grinning.

I stepped into the back garden and looked around. We only had one tree in the garden and you could quite clearly see Peyton between the branches, but Matty was hidden somewhere, probably in the bushes. Shouldn't be that hard to find him.
Matty
I'd probably chosen the best hiding place since bushes were numerous in Roxie's garden and I could easily move if one of them found me. Or run around screaming. There's a plan.
