I brought one table their coffees, then headed back to the counter. Nicki was beside me, cleaning her nails, sighing boredly every few minutes. It was a slow day.

I parked my bike outside the coffee shop and ran a hand through my hair. I yawned and headed inside, taking my usual table I always did. I had some work with me to finish up but that was just finishing a chapter.

I felt Nicki jab me in the side with her elbow, and I looked around the shop, confused until I saw Trav in his regular seat. I got a cup and some cream and sugars with the carry carafe and took them over to where he sat. "Hello there," I said, putting everything on the table and smiling at him.

I smiled at him, shrugging. "I'm good. I was actually going to call you later. Nicki and Syd'll be out tonight and Jodi's spending the weekend at her parents', so if you want to come over to hang out...?" I said, resting my hip against the edge of his table.

I gave a smile as I tapped my finger against my chin,"I don't know,"I said teasingly,"I think I'm really busy,"I said as I looked up at her and smirked. I laughed and winked at her,"I would love to spend the evening with you,"I said grinning.

I laughed and rolled my eyes, leaning forward and kissing him softly before pulling away and ruffling his hair. "You're such a goob. An adorable goob, yeah, but I goob nonetheless," I said, smiling and kissing his cheek before asking, "You want anything else?"

I laughed and leaned down again, kissing him more deeply than before. "Now," I said, breaking away from him and running a finger down his lips, "No more till tonight." I grinned at him and moved away, going back behind the counter before my boss came in and yelled at me for sucking face with the customers. "You guys are so cute," Nicki sighed sadly, pouting. I smiled and shook my head. "We're not that cute," I said, hoping to make her feel a little better. Her boyfriend had broken up with her the day before I'd even met Trav, and she hated being single.

I watched her walk away, my heart pounding in my chest. I wanted to just pull her back to me but I knew I'd probably get her fired. It completely turned my on when she kissed me deeper. I groaned quietly to myself as I shifted a little and opened my book to try and concentrate on what I needed to get done.

I chewed on the inside of my cheek as I rested my chin in my hand. Reading about business is nice to me but when I have a beautiful girl across the room from me it's really hard to concentrate on it. I glanced over at Serenity then took a drink of the coffee she had gotten me earlier.

After work, I'd gone to the store to buy some chips and rent some movies, plus we had Netflix on our Wii. I went home and changed into some Nike shorts and a baggy sweatshirt, throwing my hair up in a bun just so it wasn't in my face. I channel surfed til he showed up.

I headed to Serenity's apartment. I thought about bringing flowers put I rode a motorcycle so that wouldn't really work out. I headed up the stairs to her place, knocking on the door. I stuffed my hands in my pockets as I glanced down the little area of her apartment.
