Gage,
I looked down at her; no one had ever asked to see my scars. Except hospitals and therapies and I barely showed them. I chewed on the inside of my cheek "Yeah," I said before I slid up my sleeves, revealing scar after scar of white lines, some still a bit fresh.

Quinn;
I looked at the scars, surprised there were so many. I bit my lip as I glanced up at him kind of letting him know I was going to touch him. I hesitantly moved my fingertips over the lines, feeling bad that he went through this.

Gage,
I actually didn't freak out at her touch because I knew she wasn't going to hurt me. "It was the only way to fight back the pain," I said quietly. "I still want to do it sometimes, but I can't. He took everything away from me. I know he's just trying to help, but sometimes I don't find it fair."

[lauren.]

Quinn;
Without thinking about it, I continued rubbing his wrists as I looked up at him,"Your dad?"I asked tilting my head slightly. I hope he didn't go crazy on me for asking.

Gage,
I let out a laugh, "My dad? Hell no, he'd never want to help me. I meant your dad. I've gotta admit he looks out for me. I'm just not used to it, so it makes me angry. My dad would do anything he could to hurt me," I said as I watched her touch my wrists. Her touch was calming, not something I was used to.

Quinn;
I looked back at his wrists, tracing each line softly,"Well my whole family is here for you,"I said chewing the inside of my cheek. I breathed in and looked up at him,"Will you tell me one day?"I asked. I knew why he was so violent was because of abuse from his father but he was never specific.

Gage,
I looked over at her, "One day. When I feel like I'm ready. I'm still not ready to accept it myself, let alone open up to anyone else." I explained. "It's such a personal subject."

[lauren.]

Quinn;
I nodded as I removed my hands and placed them back in my back pocket,"I understand that,"I said looking up at him with a smile.

Gage,
I pulled my sleeves back down, "I appreciate you for understanding." I said softly. I then saw two figures leaning against the wall, smoking cigarettes as I let out a low grumble. It was Tony and Austin; two kids that I had gotten into many fights with at parties. "We need to go back," I told her as I instantly took her hand, pulling her close. "Whoa whoa whoa," I heard Tony say, their voices approaching. "Where do you think you're going?" I didn't want this, not now. "Who's this pretty lady?" Austin asked, taking a drag on his cigarette.

Quinn;
I scrunched my nose as I smelt the disgusting smoke,"None of your business,"zip said glaring at the guys. I didn't know who they were but I stayed close to Gage, hoping he'd protect me if needed.

Gage,
Tony let out a laugh, "Oh, I think it is our business. A pretty girl like you shouldn't be hangin around a jackass like him," he said with a grin. I narrowed my eyes at the two, "Fuck off," I snapped. Austin raised an eyebrow, "Considering you get completely wasted at every party, I think she deserves someone like me," Austin breathed as he snaked his arm around her. That completely pissed me off. I let go of her had and immediately began beating the crap out of Austin, "You don't fucking touch her!" I yelled through my punches. Tony looked over at Quinn as he walked over, taking her chin in his hand. "I'd like to fuck you hard," He cooed to her.

Quinn;
I gasped and pulled away from him quickly,"Don't touch me,"I said shivering in disgust. I looked over at Gage seeing him in a fight so I didn't know what to do.

Gage,
I was beyond pissed now. Once I felt like I had beaten the shit out of him I went over and grabbed Tony by the shirt. "Don't you ever fucking touch her again. I will personally kill you," I growled before I slammed him against the wall. I shot a look at him before I looked over at Quinn, "We need to go. Now," I breathed as I walked over to her. "Get on my back," I told her.

Quinn;
I swallowed as I hesitantly yet quickly climbed onto his back, holding onto him. I hated guys who tried to force themselves on girs. My heart was racing.

Gage,
I walked quickly down the street, walking faster than I ever had before. I didn't want them knowing where we lived, or hurting her. I knew they would've rape her, and I could never let myself live that down if they did. It'd probably result in my own death. I had a bloody face and a black eye, and I knew I was going to be in great trouble, but I needed to save Quinn. Once we made it back to the house I opened the door, setting her down as I took in a deep breath, wiping some blood off my face. "I'm so sorry," I whispered.
