"Hey," I said softly with a small smile on my face. I ran my hand through my hair as I watched him. "Sleep okay?" I asked as I looked back down at my cup.

I grinned as she slid her arms around me. "I do hope you're in the mood for pancakes," I said with a small chuckle.

I poured myself a cup and went to sit by Cass,"I slept good actually. How about you?"I asked as I took a drink, looking over at her.

Darcy;
I smiled and shrugged,"I'm in the mood for anything,"I said kissing his back before moving to the coffee maker.

"I slept really good," I told him with a smile as I leaned into him. I just wished it would just stay like this. "It's been getting so cold lately, I'm loving it."

Joshua,
"Good," I smiled as I put the pancakes onto a plate. I brought them over to the table and quickly set the table. I just wanted to do something nice for her.

recognize the taste of the alcohol on his lips if she kisses him right

I smiled, wrapping my arm around her shoulders,"Fall, greatest time. Though I am hoping for snow this year,"I said glancing out the windows.

Darcy;
I poured us some coffee once it was made and placed it on the table, taking my usual seat. I smiled at that he set the table. "Smells really good,"I said takings drink to warm myself up.

I'm thinking like Darcy can get mad about it this morning and be mute with him and maybe Rodney can call Josh up and ask him if he wants to go to a party and it can spiral downhill from there.

I smiled, "I really hope so too. Snow is my favorite," I said as I took a sip of my coffee. "It makes me so happy." I looked up at him and kissed his cheek. "I love you Rodney."

Joshua,
"Only the best for you my dear," I smiled as I grabbed the butter and syrup from the fridge. I kissed her forehead after I set the stuff down at the table.

I smiled,"I love you too Cass,"I said kissing her head gently. My throat clinched with the need for some alcohol at the moment. Damn, I really didn't want that to ruin this moment.

Darcy;
I smiled,"This is great,"I said as I caressed his face and pulled his lips to mind kissing him. Something didn't...taste right. I pulled away touching my lips,"Josh...,"I trailed off as I looked at him.

Cassandra,
I noticed him tighten up slightly and I knew why, but I quickly pushed it past me. I just felt like he said that but only did it to make me happy. "You promise?" I asked softly.

Joshua,
Shit. I didn't do anything to get rid of the alcohol. There goes my life. "Darcy..." I mumbled, swallowing. "I...I couldn't just stop. I'm so sorry," I said quietly as I looked at her.

Rodney;
How could she tell so easily? Damn. I swallowed and rubbed my face,"It's hard to quit cold turkey babe,"I said looking at her, hoping she'd understand.

Darcy;
"You said you would stop,"I said quietly, staring at him with a hurt expression. "We had a great night last night, and then I thought this morning was going to be great. Why now?"I asked standing up. Suddenly I wasn't hungry anymore.

Cassandra,
I sighed; I knew it. "But it's always going to be like this. Even if I have you a little freedom you'd abuse it. It really makes me upset Rodney," I said as I twirled my finger around the top of my cup.

Joshua,
"Darcy please. You don't understand. I can't just stop out of nowhere. You don't know how hard it is. If I didn't have a little bit I'd be a mess," I said, feeling a sense of panic. "Please."

Rodney;
I frowned,"Yet I haven't had a drink of alcohol since we left that party. You have no idea how hard I'm.holding back right now, Cass,"I said closing my eyes as I felt that burning in my throat. "I haven't done anything ye to upset you,"I said slightly mad that she was acting this way.

Darcy;
I raised an eyebrow getting up as I went into the kitchen. I knew we had a bottle of whiskey in the cabinet. Yanking open the cabinet, I pulled out the half full bottle shocked,"You call this a little Josh?"I asked staring at him with shock wide eyes.

Cassandra,
"I know you have a hangover Rodney, that's what makes me upset. I just don't understand how you find this life enjoyable. It's not about whether or not you're drinking because I know that's all you think about," I said as I looked away from him. I was upset. Hell, I had every right to be.

Joshua,
"Compared to what I normally have Darcy? That's very little," I said, annoyance in my voice. "Just drinking that much won't do anything to me. It's not even a goddam big deal." I clenched my jaw as I looked at her; she was clueless.

[lauren.]

Rodney;
"Of course I have a hangover. It's not like I woke up and said I did want one,"I said rubbing my face. This was going to go nowhere like it usually does. I closed my eyes rubbing my temples,"I don't want to fight,"I said.

Darcy;
"It is a goddamn big deal Josh! You downed this just to make it through the morning. You dont need this shit,"I said throwing the bottle into the sink causing it to break, the deadly liquid flowing down the drain. I was on a mission now to get rid of this crap once and for all. I made way to where I knew he hid some and began piling it in my arms to throw them in the sink.

Cassandra,
I rolled my eyes and got up, "That's always your excuse," I said before I left the room. Just saying that didn't mean anything to me. I wasn't ever going to drop it until he dropped the alcohol. I set my mug down on the counter and headed into the bedroom, closing the door behind me. I needed to be alone.

Joshua,
My eyes grew wide as I saw her do the worst thing I have ever seen her do. "Have you gone fucking mad?!" I yelled at her as I grabbed her arm, pulling her away from the sink rather harshly. "Ruining my fucking life isn't going to make anything better!" I grabbed the few bottles that werent smashed away from her, my blood boiling.

Rodney;
I groaned as I heard the bedroom door slam. I set my mug down and put my head in my hands. I don't really see what the big deal is. It's just alcohol. I chewed on my lip as I looked towards the kitchen then the top of the stairs. A drink sounded great right now.

Darcy;
I gripped my arms once he let go of me. He has never gotten aggressive with me over anything. I felt tears sting my eyes but I held them back. I looked at the bottles he was clutching to as if that was his own life then at his face. I cleared my throat, swallowing hard before I spoke,"Well I see where you actually want your life to be revolved around,"I said quietly before I quickly left the room before the tears spilled.

Cassandra,
I crawled back into bed and stared at the wall. Everything was slowly falling apart. I kept getting hurt and that's never how I planned living my life. I just wanted to live a happy life, not revolving around fighting. I rolled onto my side and quickly wiped away the stray tears I had.

Joshua,
"Goddamit!" I yelled as I threw one of the bottles, having it crash against the wall. Darcy had just pissed me off so much. I never meant to act aggressively, but she led me to it. I ran my hand trough my hair before I grabbed my phone, dialing Rodney's number.
