After being locked away in a far too distant tower, Elysia has never known what life outside of it might be like. She was kidnapped from her parents when she was only an infant by a vain woman who only want her for her long, golden, magical hair. Elysia had always dreamed of disappearing and seeing the world differently, but had been far too afraid to even set foot out doors. Until along comes a rather charming thief named Reiner. While on his escape away from the guards, he comes across this very large tower. With no where else to run he quickly resorts to hiding in the tower, where he comes across Elysia. With magic, anything can happen.

and as much as I want to leave, it scares me. I am very creative and bubbly, and have a hard time saying no to an adventure.

Elysia,
I sat in my room, brushing my hair as I let out a sigh. I was surprised I hadn't gone crazy yet from being cooped up all the time. I set my brush down, walking over to my half finished canvas. I studied it, wanting to finish it, but my desire to paint wasn't with me right now.

[lauren.]

Indeed he is!

Reiner,
Okay... so I hadn't exactly stole anything today, yet.. but I'm already being chased. By a small army. This was the fun part though! Getting caught and then running, trying to out smart them. I was in the forest, dodging trees and rocks along the way.

Elysia,
I tucked a strand of my all too long hair behind my ear as I picked up a paint brush. I began to add to the painting, letting my imagination flow. I painted nature, the outside world. Anywhere but here. I hummed to myself quietly. This was how every day was. This was how every day was going to be.

[lauren.]

Reiner,
They were gaining on me. I quickly got out of sight, backing int bushes. I ended up stumbling upon and opening that was definitely out of sight. I pushed some branches aside and saw a huge tower. I raised an eyebrow glancing behind me, before I hurried up to the tower. I stood staring up at it wondering how I was going to get up there. I searched in my satchel finding some type of metal to dig into the brricks so I could climb up.

Elysia,
I quickly finished my painting as I stepped back to look at it. It was beautiful, and it made me smile. I slumped slightly as I looked at it. I only painted what I could see out of the small window. "Why won't I just leave?" I asked myself quietly as I sighed. Because I was far too terrified.

[lauren.]

Reiner,
I began climbing the tower, hearing the guys in the background but I knew that they wouldn't be able to find this. I was glad I had the upper body strength for this. I flung myself into the window and grinned,"Yes!"I said pumping my fist.

Elysia,
I froze where I stood before I slowly turned to look at a man standing in my room. I grabbed a broom that was nearby, "W-who are you and what do you want?" I asked frantically until I realized he wanted my hair. "You can't have it!" I yelled in a panic.

[lauren.]

Reiner,
I jumped slightly as I held my fists up in a stance. I then noticed that this was a chick....a good looking chick...with freakishly long hair. I raised an eyebrow,"Can't have what...?"I asked.

Elysia,
"Oh don't you dare play dumb with me." I said as I pointed the broom accusingly at him. "That's why I stay here. To keep away from people like you!" He couldn't use it. It was mine.

[lauren.]

Reiner,
"Whoa, whoa, whoa,"I said holding my hands up in surrender,"I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I have just stumbled upon this random tall tower with a random lady in her with freakishly long hair,"I said raising an eyebrow.

Elysia,
I lowered the broom down as I narrowed my eyes at him. "You better be telling the truth." He did seem rather clueless though, and seemed as if he had no intention of taking me. "Then what are you doing here?" I asked.

[lauren.]

Reiner,
I tilted my head,"Well I was running from some guys but lost them and then I stumbled up this,"I said stretching my arms gesturing to the tower.

Elysia,
"Why were they chasing you? Because you're a thief!" I accused taking a step closer to him before I held my hair tightly.
