I sat on the bed, laying down on my back to relieve the pain,"Quite a bit. You were so close to dying,"I said squeezing my eyes shut tightly. Just thinking about it hurt.

I kept quiet as I ate my food. It was weird to think that I almost died yesterday. It was my fault though. If I didn't tempt Kameron into having sex then Attica wouldn't have been so angry. I ran my hand through my hair. "Kameron...last night you tried to protect me, but he was stronger. Is this going to work?" I asked.

I sighed as I turned my head to look at her,"I don't know but I need to get strong blood,"I muttered as I closed my eyes. I breathed in deeply but only winced at the pain. I didn't know what was going on with my side but vampires are not supposed to bleed.

I frowned when I saw him in pain. "You don't look well." I said softly. "Aren't you supposed to heal quickly?" I didn't like seeing him hurt--it wasn't a common thing for him.

"I'm supposed to sweetheart, but I'm weak so it's going to take awhile or it's not going to heal,"I said getting off the bed. I kissed her forehead,"I'll be right back. I'm gonna go get something to drink,"I said before slipping out of the room. I didn't want her to keep questioning me about the pain I was in. Plus I needed to check on it anyways.

I nodded as I ate my breakfast. I knew that I shouldn't have been asking so many questions, but I was the curious type. I ran my hand through my hair. We had gone through hell and back all in a matter of months.

I poured some alcohol and mixed some blood, hoping they both would take off the pain. I set my drink down and unraveled the gauze from around my waist. The gash was gruesome. I frowned wondering what the hell I needed to do to make this better.

Everly,
I grew tired of sitting in bed-I had eaten most of my breakfast. I removed the sheets off from me and slowly positioned myself. My legs were weak as I stood up, but I was able to hold myself up. I left my room, suddenly feeling very lonely. I didn't like being away from Kameron-I was always fearful now.

I ran a hand down my face as I started to head to my bathroom to get more gauze but I heard Everly come out of her room. I tried to turn my bad side away from her,"Why are you out of bed?"I asked clearing my throat.

Everly,
I immediately felt as if I had disobeyed the orders I was given. I rubbed my arm, "I can't sit in bed all day." I said quietly. "I miss you Kameron." It really woke me up yesterday, when I was near death, that I just wanted to be with the man I loved when I had the chance.

I bit my lip as I nodded. "I'm going to take a shower," I told him. I sulk back to my room, grabbing my clothes out of my drawer as I walked into my bathroom. I looked in the mirror-I didn't look like myself, I didn't feel like myself. I rubbed my face before slowly removing my clothes. I turned the shower on, just wanting to sit in the warm water forever.

I sighed seeing how sad she was. Maybe I should join her? Make her feel better? I went to my bathroom and wrapped some gauze then headed back to her room. I knocked on her bathroom, leaning against the wall,"Everly, can I join you?"I asked biting my lip. I honestly felt like I've failed her.

I heard what he said and stayed quiet for a moment. He was trying so hard, I know he was. I stepped out of the shower, dripping wet as I opened the door to look at him. "Of course." I said quietly. Things were going to be tense for a while, so any bit of relaxation was desperately needed.

The sight of her standing before me dripping wet made me love her even more. "I'm sorry if I'm being too harsh,"I said as I stepped inside the bathroom shutting the door. I was going to treat her like a fucking princess. I've put her through hell and I have a guilty conscience for that.
