Kameron.
I let out a small sigh of relief,"I don't feel anything,"I said smiling. "It amazing how Valen came at the right time,"I said taking her hand, kissing it softly.

Everly,
I bit my lip, "Well he actually came for a reason..." I said, looking down. "The boards knows what you and I did, and they aren't happy about it at all." I didn't want to drop this news on him now, but it had to be done sometime.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I sighed quietly as I rested my head against the pillow again,"I knew that was coming,"I said as I ran a hand down my face. I looked over at her,"We'll be okay,"I said. "Anything I need to worry about other than that?"

Everly,
I shook my head, "Nothing else that I know of." I said. I caressed his cheek with my hand. "I'm so proud of you Kameron. You've been through so much and managed to fight through it all." I smiled softly.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I smiled slightly,"It's not over yet Everly,"I said quietly. "I'm sorry for not saying goodbye. I was just so angry and when he threw me into the ground I regretted going,"I said.

Everly,
My smile decreased slightly, "You really had me worried. I thought I had already lost you." I said, moving my hand from his face. "But it's my fault for being so stubborn and selfish. I know you're trying your hardest." I swallowed, looking down.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I shook my head slightly,"Don't blame it on yourself. Blame it on damn Attica,"I muttered. I sighed,"How are you feeling? You were almost completely drained yesterday and somehow you found me in the park,"I said looking at her. I think she was feeling better, glad that Valen had come to the small rescue when he did.

Everly,
I laughed slightly, "Well considering I ran from our apartment all the way there I'm doing alright. Just still shaken up about all of this, but I'm hanging in there." I said with a small smile. "You're really testing my strength here."

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I frowned slightly,"Im sorry about that. I'm hoping you're getting your strength back,"I said sighing. I looked over as the door opened and Valen walked in. "It's great to see you awake,"Valen said smiling. "Kam, Everly said you've been bleeding since about two days ago with another run in with Attica." I nodded,"Yes, that's right. I don't understand why I am though,"I said talking Everly's hand and squeezing it gently. "Well I took a sample and ran it through some tests,"Valen said glancing at me. What was wrong? It feels like I'm sixteen again being told I had cancer.

Everly,
I looked over at Dr. Valen, a little afraid of what he was going to say next. I knew that vampires were not supposed to bleed, so it couldn't be something good. I rubbed his hand with my thumb, biting the inside of my cheek.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
"Well it seems as if you've become a little bit of human,"Valen said looking shocked himself. I stared at him. "How is that even possible?"I asked breathless. If I was turning back to human would I get cancer again? "I don't know Kameron but it's only part human. I don't see that you could become fully human again. The good thing is is that your blood is clean. No sign of cancer,"he said causing me to relax a little.

Everly,
I was shocked when he said that. Half human? "Is this because of me?" I asked. I remembered when he told me he loved me I felt...weird, different. I kept that to myself though. I don't think any of us knew that vampires could turn back into humans. Or half humans that is.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
Valen and I both looked at Everly. "What do you mean Everly?"Valen asked her. How could this have been because of her? She hasn't done anything to me that I've known of.

Everly,
I wrung my wrists, looking over at Dr. Valen, then Kameron. "Kameron, when you told me you loved me...I instantly felt different. Like I felt a weird energy go through my body. I thought it was just because I was excited, but now I don't know if it's something more." I said.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I breathed in looking at her,"If you felt something..wouldn't I have felt something?"I asked her. Wouldn't I? "What does this mean though? What's different about me know that I'm human?"I asked completely in a loop for this whole thing. "I've never seen anything like this Kam. I don't know what to say,"Valen said shaking his head. He was just in shock about this as all of us.
