It's all an act.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I mustered up what I had in me and lunged at Attica as he lunged at Everly. I took him down, punching his face over and over. I breathed in heavily as I grasped Attica's head,"You won't touch her ever again,"I grunted as I snapped his neck easily.

[haileyjordan]

Everly,
I sunk down to the floor when I knew that Attica was dead and gone. My arms were aching. Tears streamed down my face, mainly out of relief that this was over. This was all over. I wasn't his anymore. I buried my face in my hands as I began to cry harder, completely overwhelmed with what had just happened.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I got off of Attica still staring at him. It was over. I looked over at Everly and as quickly as I could went over I her. "What's wrong? Are you hurt?"I asked wrapping my arms around her. I glanced back over at Attica's dead body.

Everly,
I shook my head, "No Kameron. I'm just so glad this is all over." I said through my tears with a small smile. "I'm not going to be in pain anymore." Just thinking about it made me want to run around out of joy, but my body was numb. I melted into Kameron, wiping my tears.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I smiled softly as I kissed her forehead,"It's over Everly,"I said wiping her tears away as I kisse her lips. I needed to get rid of the body though. "Go outside,"I said as I pulled her up with me. I needed to set it on fire, taking the house down with it. I had to be in here to watch it just in case.

Everly,
I nodded and walked outside, my body still shaking. I was so confused as to what I did in there. But I knew now that's what I felt when Kameron told me he loved me. He was literally giving me a part of him, whether he liked it or not. I ran my hand through my hair, hugging myself as I sat down next to a nearby tree.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I found some matched and lit on, throwing it onto Attica's body. I watched until his whole body was consumed in fire and started licking the floor. Once I knew it was okay to take my eyes off of him, I headed outside coughing slightly. I looked around and saw Everly against a tree. I limped over to her, pulling her up, and holding her to me.

Everly,
I wrapped my arms around his waist, resting my head against his chest. "I can't believe I did that." I whispered, squeezing him a little tighter. I just wanted to make sure he was there and that this wasn't all some sick dream. I couldn't even fathom the emotions I felt.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
"How did you do that? It was fantastic, Everly. You saved both of us,"I said looking down at her. I lifted her chin so I could see her face. "I love you so much,"I said smiling at her.

Everly,
I smiled up at him, "I was able to do that due to the first time you said those three words to me." I said softly. "I love you too Kameron." I kissed his lips, realizing that my neck was no longer in pain. I put my hand to it, "It doesn't hurt." I whispered.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I moved her hair to the side to reveal her neck,"It's gone. All of it,"I said amazed to how it just vanished so quickly. I smiled as I took her face in my hands kissing her deeply, picking her up and spinning her around the best I could. I could now be with Everly and not worry. Not worry that either of us could die any moment.

Everly,
I giggled as he picked me up. We were both at peace now-there were no worries, just love. "I love you so much Kameron. Thank you for being my knight in shining armor." I smiled, kissing his lips. We went through this together, and it only made us stronger.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I smiled as I set her feet back down on the ground. "Lets go home and celebrate,"I said moving some hair out of her face. I glanced back at the house as the fire licked the side of the house now. I took her hand as I led her to the car. Seeing that fire made me feel good.

Everly,
I held his hand tightly, a smile on my face the whole time. I got into the car, letting out a happy sigh. "I can't even believe this." I said softly, looking over at him.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I chuckled as we headed back home. I kissed her hand gently as I drove so extremely happy that this was over. We finally made it home and I opene her door for her, helping her out. "We're home,"and it sounded like it really did. It was home again.
