Everly,
"Goodnight Kameron." I murmured, snuggling up to him, resting my head against his chest. I shut my eyes, finding it rather easy to drift off to sleep.

[lauren.]

(Skipping!)
Kameron.
It had been about a week since everything had happened with Attica. And honestly? Everly and I were pretty much on cloud 9 feeling free to be together. I sat on the couch flipping through numerous stupid channels that were worthless. Strangely I was still half human, half vampire. I didn't even know that would ever happen to me. Let alone fall in love with a human.

Everly,
I was finishing up the dishes, happily doing it (which isn't normal). I just loved this feeling of security. I knew that we were perfect for each other, and nothing was going to ruin that anymore. I heard the doorbell ring, "I'll get it," I called to Kameron as I went to the door. I opened it only to be approached by two older looking men in rather nice suits. "Can I help you?" I asked.

Damian,
I smiled warmly at Everly, her scent definitely overwhelming me. "Hello Everly. Yes, you can help us actually. We are from the board, I'm sure that Kameron will understand the situation," I told her cooly. "My name is Damian, I am the head of the board."

[lauren.]

Fin.
I nodded my head slightly at Everly,"And I'm Fin. We're needing to have you and Kameron come with us for a little meeting,"I said simply. I straightened up more when Kameron came into the picture behind Everly. "Kameron, what a pleasure to see you. Though I wish it was on different circumstances."

Kameron.
I stood behind Everly, placing my arm aroun her waist pulling her gently to me. "Damian. Fin,"I said rather gruffly but nodded my head at them. I knew why they were here and I hadn't even though about it. There's no telling what could happen to us.

Everly,
I looked up at Kameron, "What is this?" I asked before I suddenly remembered. "Oh," I added softly, looking over at the two. "Listen he didn't mean-" but I was quickly cut off by Damian.

Damian,
"Now now child, we mustn't discuss these matters here in public." I told her sternly. "If you two wouldn't mind coming with me," I added, holding my hand out for Everly, glancing over at Kameron.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I glared at Damien's hand but knew not to go against him. I continued to have my arm wrapped around Everly's waist as I pushed her forward a little,"We have no choice,"I murmured quietly sounding kind of defeated. I knew this last week was too good to be true.

Fin.
I grinned,"Don't worry, mi'lady. We won't hurt you. We just want to get down to the bottom of what had happen,"I said as I glanced at Damien.

Everly,
I swallowed before I placed my hand in Damian's. I wasn't liking this, but I guess we had no other choice.

Damian,
"Excellent," I said calmly, "we will be there shortly." And with that we appeared to be a palace, the walls seemed as if they never ended, the ground was polished granite. It looked as though it belonged in pre gothic times. "Here we are," I smiled softly, releasing her hand. "Now if you two would follow us," I said, making my way to a more disclosed part of the palace.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I took Everly's hand gently in mine, intertwining our finger. I stayed calm and collected as we followed Damien and Fin, but I was afraid of what was going to happen. We've had so much shit going on and everything was perfect for a moment & of course this comes along.

Fin.
Damien led the way as I stayed behind the group making sure they didn't get away. But it's not like Kameron would disobey the rules. Especially in the palace of The Board. I watched as they held hands and shook my head. This meeting might not go well.

Damian,
I took a seat in a rather intricately detailed chair, putting the tips of my hands together as I looked at the two. "Now Kameron, you have broken the rule of making love to a Marked one when that Marked one is not yours, but I'm sure you are already aware of this." I said, glancing over at Everly, then back at Kameron. "You knew this was against the rules, but you went ahead and did it anyways."

Everly,
"But uh...sir, he wasn't the one who instigated it." I said, trying to plead the best case I could. "I was being selfish. I knew he wasn't allowed to, but I teased him anyways." I bit my lip, looking over at the two, blushing slightly.

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I squeezed Everly's hand as I cleared my throat,"I realize what I did was wrong and I should have stopped it before anything happened,"I said showing them respect as I looked at them talking. "But I do would like you all to know that Attica was the one who went to break the biggest rule by reMarking her over my Mark,"I said gritting my teeth. I wouldn't be in this shit if it wasn't for him. He's dead & I have to pick up the pieces he caused.

Fin.
I had taken a seat next to Damien as I watched the two,"We've had a close eye on Attica every day but he's dead now,"I said raising an eyebrow at Kameron. "This isn't about Attica. We can't do anything about him anymore. This is about you,"I said,"And Everly,"I said giving her a sweet smile.

Kameron,
My eyes blazed over at Kameron, "That is something I would expect from Attica, but you Kameron," I shook my head, "I am very disappointed in you. Breaking the rules comes with consequences, there's only one way to realize the wrong you have done." I explained. In an instant his body was sent to the ground, my hand grasping his neck. "And the only way to punish you would be to kill you, vampires never learn from their mistakes, sadly."

Everly,
My eyes widened as I watched him slam Kameron into the floor. "No! Please!" I screamed. Not again. I couldn't keep having Kameron slipping through my fingers. It was my fault, he only did it because he loved me. I could feel tears in my eyes. "Please he didn't do it on purpose!"

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I breathed in deeply as the breathe was knocked out of me. Damien and Fin didn't realize what has happened to me. But Damien had knocked me pretty hard into the ground, some of the granite slicing through my shoulder to produce blood. I groaned as the pain as I looked over at Everly. Why now? Why ever?

Fin.
I knew there wasn't much Everly could do but I put up a protection air between her and them to make sure she didn't get herself killed in this process. That was then when I smelled fresh blood spilt. I looked around wondering why the hell was going on. Then I looked over at Kameron seeing how much he was struggling with this and his fresh wound. My eyes widened,"What?"I whispered, standing up that shield dropping immediately at my surprise.

Damian,
My eyes widened slightly as I saw the freshly drawn blood spilling from Kameron's shoulder. I released my grip only slightly, staring at the blood. "How?" I asked, looking over at him. That wasn't physically possible.

Everly,
"Stop hurting him!" I yelled when I saw the blood. I felt my whole body tense, setting my jaw as I stared at Damian, sending the pain from my body to his. He instantly let go of Kameron's throat, flinching from the pain I was bringing him.

Damian,
"What the hell is going on?" I asked through a groan. It felt like knives piercing through my stomach. I knew this wasn't from Kameron. I turned my head over to Everly, seeing how concentrated she was. Was she doing this?

[lauren.]

Kameron.
I was able to gasp some air in as I pushed myself back with my good arm, breathing heavily. "Everly, stopI said looking over at her. I didn't want her killing the head vampire on the Board. Then they would definitely kill me.

Fin.
I looked from Damien then to Kameron and then at Everly. What? She has powers? That isn't even possible. I stepped down onto the ground wanting answers. "I demand to know why it going on right now,"I said sternly but you could see the facsination I held.

Everly,
I instantly released him when Kameron told me to. I just couldn't have him killing him. No one was taking him away from me. I went silent, looking over at Fin, then Damian. I didn't want to say anything.

Damian,
I remained on the floor for a moment before I gathered myself and stood up. I looked over at Everly. "Never have I ever seen a human possess the powers of a vampire, nor have I seen a vampire bleed." I said, quite astonished. "Fin and I are very intrigued as to why this is happening."
