Everly,
I stared at the sky, completely mesmerized by the colors. A smile spread across my face as I watched them, like a little kid who saw them for the first time. I looked over at Kameron, "Did you do this?" I grinned, a sparkle in my eye. How much better could this get?

Kameron.
I looked over at the fireworks shooting into the sky,"I might have,"I said chuckling as I looked over at her. I suddenly got nervous. I felt like I should have done something more but it was just gitters. Heck I asked her to marry me before and she said yes. I stood up, holding my hand out,"Lets go for a walk,"I said smiling.

Everly,
I looked up at him, "Okay," I smiled, taking his hand as I stood up. What was all of this? He put so much effort into this- don't get me wrong I loved it, but it wasn't the normal Kameron. "What is all of this Kam?" I said softly.

Kameron.
I smiled nervously and shrugged,"I wanted to do something out of the ordinary for you,"I said squeezing her hand gently. I stopped walking a turned to her taking both of her hands as I looked into her eyes, smiling. I took a deep breathe,"We've been through so much, too much actually. Maybe there's more to come? I hope not but I know we can stick it out and make it through. Everly, you're a strong, confident, beautiful woman and that's what I want by my side throughout the years. I want you to be my forever. I want to be the one who will care for you and hold you in my arms. I love you with all my half human half vampire heart,"I said giving a lopsided smile. I kissed her hands before I lowered down I to one knee pulling the ring box out of my jacket pocket

Everly,
I stared at him, not even being able to fathom what was happening. He was really doing it-proposing to me. I covered my hands over my mouth, feeling tears forming on my eyelids. "Kameron," I said softly, my heart racing.

Kameron.
I looked up at her and smiled,"I know I've already asked you but I wanted to do it the right way. For you,"I said as I opened the box and looked at her again,"Everly.. Will you marry me?"I asked.

Everly,
A smiled spread across my face as the tears slid down my cheeks. I nodded, "Yes. Oh yes, Kameron." I said happily as I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling his lips to mine. It was all coming true, everything I had dreamed about.

Kameron.
I felt relief wash through my body. I know she's already said yes once but this seemed bigger, this is the actual engagement. I kissed her back grinning,"Here,"I murmured as I pulled away slightly taking her left hand and sliding the ring on. "Perfect fit,"I murmured as I smiled at her.

Everly,
I looked down at the ring, completely mesmerized. "It's so beautiful, Kameron," I smiled, looking at him. "This is really happening." I whispered. I was engaged. We were getting married. It felt like just yesterday I was meeting him for the first time.

Kameron.
I chuckled quietly,"Yes, this is really happening,"I said as I kissed her forehead. I honestly never thought I would have settled for a girl. Only thought the vampire player life was for me. Things change and I'm glad they do. "How about we head home? Or do you have anything else in kind that you'd like to do?"I asked.

Everly,
"I think this was enough and more," I said with a small giggle. "I just want to be home with you. My legs are becoming jello." I laughed, kissing him again. All this excitement made me weak.

Kameron.
I smirked and raised an eyebrow,"I hope they're not becoming jello because I really like your legs,"I said chuckling as I picked her up in my arms, taking her to the car.

Everly,
I laughed as I kissed his cheek, "I wouldn't want to disappoint you," I smiled before I got into the car. My stomach was full of butterflies. I looked down at my ring, biting my lip to keep from smiling. This was so perfect.

Kameron.
I grinned and got into the car pulling away and heading home. I took her hand in mine,rubbing my finger around where her ring was. She was mine. Well she was already mine with our Marking to vampires but now she was also mine to humans. I kissed the back of her hand as we pulled into the drove way.

I got out of the car once we pulled to a stop. I looked over at him, not being able to keep my smile from appearing again. I felt like a child, being so giddy. Hell, I had a reason to be.
