I rolled onto my side, looking at the closet in front of me. Does this mean that if you're like thirsty or whatever, that you just come and take it from me? I just wanted to know what I should be expecting, considering I was stuck with it.

I sighed quietly, I'm honestly not quite sure. I've only heard stories from others but it's not really like a thirsty you're thinking. It's more like a once a month thing, unless of course you give permission for more than once a month or even if you want it to happen a lot. It doesn't hurt, Everly. Most humans who are Marked find it quite...pleasurable. I wanted to make this as easy as possible for her. And just so you know, I can block out your thoughts. I won't be in your head all the time. I felt the tension release when he said he could block out my thoughts. So maybe he wasn't so horrible. I'm not going to stay in Vegas much longer, what are you going to do then? I wasn't too familiar with what vampires were capable of. I really didn't know anything, come to think of it.

I thought about that for a moment. If you're going back to your own town then I will only see you once a month. I can come as many times as you want but I'll only resort to once a month. Once a month...could I handle that myself? I would have to for her. I'm not some maniac blood sucking vampire like a lot out there. I have more human qualities than most.

I stayed quiet for a moment. I guess I wouldn't know how this was going to be until he came for me for the first time. Okay Kameron. I think I can do that. This was just going to happen slowly. If I wanted more, well that would be decided when the time came.

I gave a small smile as I rolled onto my side, yawning. I'm sorry. She may be coming around to the idea but I still felt like a completely jack-ass for what happened. And I completely understand if she doesn't forgive me.

You're an entertainer, sometimes you can't really help the cocky-ness. I'm sorry for being extremely dramatic. I was just overwhelmed. This was so weird, apologizing to someone through my head. I smiled softly; everyone would think I was crazy.

Kameron.
You had every right to act the way you did. So no need to apologize to me, I told her softly. I wanted things to work out for us. I didn't want for her to be against me and I'd have to force her once a month.

So I'm guessing you're not magic, huh? I smirked. He was pretty smart though, using his abilities to make money. Alright so he was charming and classy. Maybe this would be okay.

I chuckled, Don't break the illusion, sweetheart. I was actually quite shocked by how easily she was okay with talking to me. But I was glad she was talking to me.

I giggled softly. I was confusing myself. The guy who sunk his teeth into me, the guy who I screamed at, I was actually laughing at. You really are something.

Kameron.
As are you, Miss Everly. I could help but wish she was her so I could see her smiling. I knew how she was feeling and it strangely warmed my cold heart.

Goodnight Kameron. I suddenly felt like I was able to sleep better now. I pulled my sheets up before drifting off to sleep.

(I'm going to skip to when she's gone back to Arizona and it's time when he needs to feed from her)
I was in my apartment, just getting out of the shower. Sure I missed Vegas every now and then, but I went by the saying of home sweet home. I wrapped a towel around my body, exiting the bathroom to get my clothes.

I was here in Arizona because well...I needed to. To be civil I actually decided to go to her door instead of randomly popping up in her room. It's be different after this time. I was sort of nervous myself but my throat was dry definitely telling me it was time. I knocked on her door then ran a hand through my hair.

Crap, who was it this early in the morning? "One second!" I called as I threw on whatever I could find. I quickly went to the door and opened it, only to see Kameron. My heart instantly began racing. Of course he'd show up when I had no makeup on and wet hair. "I'm assuming you're here for a reason," I said softly. Oh god, this was it.
