Everything that she said was true. My parents were only in it because they had to be. The love had been lost between them. And yes, I was sad. All the time. "Royalty definitely doesn't seem like all that it's cracked up to be." I said.

I breathed in deeply,"Im sure if it was put into the right hands then it would be better,"I murmured as I adjusted myself on my makeshift bed.

Landon,
I pursed my lips, "Just give it time. I'm sure someone will come around eventually." Damn right they would; me. I knew everyone thought of my parents like that, and there was no way they'd even begin to listen to me if I tried to talk to them.

Lydia.
I shrugged,"Only time will tell,"I said with a sigh. I began to grow sleepy. I turned on my side, placing my arm under my head. "You should head home. It's getting late,"I yawned.

Landon,
"They'll be fine on their own for one night, trust me." I said. "Plus I need to make sure you don't try and walk on that leg of yours. Knowing you the minute I left you'd be up." I added, looking over at her and smirking.

Lydia.
I glanced over at him, raising an eyebrow slightly,"You're staying the night here..?"I asked kind of surprised. Yes, there might not be any love between his family but he is their caretaker.

Landon,
"If that's alright with you. If you want me to go I will." I said, not really wanting to leave. She made me feel...different. Even though she tried to push me away, I could feel that she wasn't trying to on purpose.

Lydia.
I stayed quiet for a little bit,"Okay, you can stay but if you try anything I can easily take you down,"I said smirking slightly as I relaxed back onto my bed, trying to get my leg into a comfortable position.

Landon,
I let out a chuckle, "I think I know better than to do that. Even if I barely know you, I still know some things." I stared up at the dark sky, the guilt settling in my stomach. This wasn't good.

Lydia.
"You better,"I mumbled as I reached for two blankets I had. "Here,"I said tossing one at him,"It does get cold out here,"I said covering my body up with a blanket, huddling Trigger under with me.

Landon,
I took the blanket and wrapped myself in it. I definitely was not used to lying on the ground, outside. "Goodnight Lydia." I said, turning on my side.

Lydia.
I yawned quietly,"Goodnight, Levi,"I murmured before I drifted off. I never really fell asleep. I was always alert with what I've been through.

Landon,
I woke up, rolling onto my back that was now sore from laying on the ground. I ground before sitting up, rubbing my back. I looked around. What time was it?

Lydia.
I was up and moving even though I wasn't supposed to be,"Do you always sleep late? & that hard? You were snoring,"I said shaking my head. I had went to the creek earlier and bathed myself. I now wore a sleeveless brown shirt tucked into a long navy blue skirt which helped give my wound some room to breathe.
