I smiled as I looked at Levi in return,"I like to have control,"I said fisting my hand and punching my other hand. I laughed and shrugged as I looked at the water,"It's kinda what I have to do though."

Landon,
I smiled at her action, "Have you always had control? Like even before this? Were you always strong?" I was curious. She seemed so independent, I wondered if that's how she always was.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I shook my head,"Not at all. Yes, I was strong enough to leave my parents but that's always a dream of ours. To grow up and move on. But once you're out here by yourself at a young age, of course you're going to be frightened and wonder if you'll even be alive the next day,"I said shrugging as I looked at him. "I had to become independent, strong, to survive."

Landon,
I looked down, feeling bad for her. "How was it? The first couple months? I can't even imagine just going out like you did." I asked, putting my hands in my pockets as I looked down at the creek, seeing our reflection.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I let out a deep breathe as I thought back to those years,"Honestly? It was hell. I didn't know how to defend for myself, let alone get some food. I worked hard. I guess you could say I hoarded harder then any thief,"I said frowning,"But I had to." "People were nasty. I tried to find jobs but no one would hire me, still won't,"I scoffed as I kicked some water.

Landon,
I shook my head, "That's what doesn't make any sense. You're such a bright girl. You can do anything. But like you said, people are nasty. They don't see people's true potential." I sighed, "I'm really sorry Lydia."

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I shrugged,"I'm use to it, I guess. Though I do get mad. But you shouldn't be saying sorry, you haven't done anything,"I said giving him a smile before I picked up a small rock and skipped it over the water.

Landon,
"It's a habit I guess." I said with a chuckle. I looked over at her, and when she looked at me I finally did it. I took her face in my hands and pressed my lips against hers gently, something I've been wanting to do.

Lydia.
I couldn't help but freeze. He was kissing me? Me. I've been kissed before but it's been by creeps, that had other intensions in mind. My heart pounded in my ears and my chest as I finally felt connected to my body again. Strangely, oddly? I kissed him back, something I would have never imagine in years.

Landon,
I was extremely surprised that she kissed me back. I didn't want the moment to end, because it was so perfect. I kissed her for a while longer before I pulled away, but not too far. I looked into her eyes, just keeping quiet.

Lydia.
For a moment I kept my eyes closed, savoring in the moment. When I opened them I was staring into Levi's eyes, making me melt. Ah crap. I hate emotions. I hate the way they make me feel, like I'm not in control. "I don't like mush,"I mumbled with a small smile.

Landon,
I smirked, "I know somewhere deep down you like it Lydia. Don't deny it." I grinned. "The way you reacted to me would tell me otherwise."

Lydia.
I raised an eyebrow at his small ego that was starting to bubble up. I pushed his chest lightly,"Whatever. Don't start getting cocky on my now,"I said rolling my eyes as I pulled away from him. Okay, maybe he was right...but only a little.

I smiled and rolled my eyes, "Oh you just have that effect on guys, I guess." I said with a grin. Kissing Lydia, I don't know, it made me feel good.

I laughed quietly and shook my head slightly. I pulled my skirt up slightly and flicked some water at Levi with my feet. I smirked,"Well if I have that effect on guys then I better tell them it's bad to behave that way,"I said laughingz
