Aspen,
It had been about a week since I've had a cigarette and it was though I had a Red Bull for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everything single day. I sat at the table, tapping my fingers rapidly against it as I drank water, my hand shaking. I hadn't slept in a few days.

[lauren.]

Peter.
With our addictions out of the house, it was becoming harder everyday. But I had to push it aside to help Aspen before I could help myself. I could hear her nails tapping against the glass cup, making me irritated. "Aspen,"I said calmly as I placed my hand over hers to quiet her.

Aspen,
I looked over at him, "I'm sorry," I said quickly, "It's just that it's been a week and I think that I'm seeing things and I'm always hungry and tired and I think I'm getting a headache, is the room spinning?" I said all in one breath. I was losing it.

[lauren.]

Peter.
She was going crazy. I turned her chair towards me and grasped her head in my hands,"Aspen, breathe,"I said giving a slight smile. "Have you been using the patch I bought?"I asked.

Aspen,
I took in a deep breath, "Yeah, I have." I said as I let out my breath. "I'm just really dizzy, I think my body thinks I hate it right now. My hands have been shaking for days. I want it to stop." I said, holding up my hand that was shaking uncontrollably.

[lauren.]

Peter.
"Just keep drinking water and eating food. You're body will get use to it sooner or later,"I said taking her shaking hand in mine. I kissed it gently,"Would you like me to make you something to eat?"

Aspen,
I nodded, "Can I have some chicken noodle soup?" I asked. I always had soup when I didn't feel like myself. I bit my lip, my eyes felt as if they were moving extremely fast, though they weren't moving at all. "I definitely feel like I'm taking LSD." I said.

[lauren.]

Peter.
I couldn't help but laugh,"Yes, I'll make you some chicken noodle soup. But first, lets get you laid down,"I said helping her up and leading her over to the couch to lay down.

Aspen,
I rubbed my head once I was on the couch, "Why is this so hard?" I groaned, looking up at him. My head was spinning, "I want to throw up." I complained. Being sick made me complain, I hated it.

[lauren.]

Peter.
I sighed softly,"Let me go get you a trash can and then I'll start on the soap,"I said moving into the kitchen to get the trash can. I brought it out and set it beside her. I kissed her forehead before heading back into the kitchen to start on the soap.

Aspen,
I put my arm over my head, trying to stop it from spinning. This was one of the most difficult weeks of my life. "Fuck!" I yelled out of frustration. I was honestly surprised I had even gotten this far. I could easily just sneak out and buy more, but I needed to be strong.

[lauren.]

Peter.
I sighed softly as I heard her yell,"It'll be okay,"I said quietly to myself and to her even though she couldn't hear me. I fixed up her chicken noodle soap nicely, giving her some crackers to go along with it. "Alright, here we go,"I said as I walked back into the livingroom.

Aspen,
I sat up, taking the bowl from him, "Thanks," I said softly. I looked down at the soup, already loving the warmth it was giving my hands. He was being extremely supportive right now. "I really appreciate this," I told him.

[lauren.]

Peter.
I smiled,"I told you I'd do anything for you,"I said taking a seat beside her. She wasn't the only one who is going through withdrawls, because I am also but it's behind closed doors.

Aspen,
I took a sip of the soup, the warmth running down my throat, soothing the pain. "How are you holding up?" I asked. I didn't mention it a lot, because I didn't want to get him thinking about it.
