I chuckled softly,"Yeah,"I said as I nudged Marly inside, then walked in behind her. Delilah started pushing herself away from me to Marly. I laughed,"Calm down D,"I said looking at Marly for approval.

I passed Delilah to Marly, smiling. Delilah giggled and began to mess with Marly's hair. I chuckled and shook my head,"So where to first, ladies?"I asked stuffing my hands into my pocket.

I was a bit caught up in Delilah actually seeming to like me. I made sure she was comfortable and secure on my waist before turning to Jordan. "Um, well, I was hoping you wouldn't mind if we just kind of...walked around, so I can see what all kinds of stores you guys have got here?"

I smiled at him gratefully, so thankful that he was really being patient with my whole tourist-act over here. "Okay," I said, looking around the mall. There was an American Eagle Outfitters, an Abercrombie and Fitch, a Hollister (hell, to the no), an Aeropostale (another hell, to the no) a Charlotte Russe, a Forever 21, and various entrances to various department stores -- and that was just what I could see.

I grinned at Marly as Delilah giggled and clapped her hands. Perfect. Delilah saw the toy store they had a squeal,"Jay!"she said grinning at me and pointing to the store.

I shrugged, there's a reason for that, I thought. "She's my sister. I want to be able to be the big brother she looks up too,"I said looking kind of pained talking about it. Her mother is dying of cancer and her father doesn't give a shit that she's alive.

I noticed the odd expression on his face as he said that, and somehow I knew immediately that he was lying to me -- or at least hiding most of the truth, like I did so often. But the worst part was, it wasn't my business and I couldn't force him to tell me about it. I had to wait it out. He had to want to talk about it. All I could do was be here for him and wait. "Well, you're doing a damn good job, seems like."
