Alaska,
I knew he was right, but I didn't want to believe that it was true. I swallowed and looked at him, "Okay," I whispered. If not now, when? I didn't know how long it would take me to heal. I wasn't sure how long I'd be able to control myself.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I frowned slightly,"Lets just get some rest,"I said as I helped her into one of my tshirts. I undressed to my boxers and I carefully climbed into the bed beside her. "How can I hold you without hurting you?"I asked running a hand through my hair. Why would this happen to Alaska?

Alaska,
"I'm not as sore near my lower back," I said as I laid down on the bed. Yes, it hurt, but I prayed that I would get sleep tonight. With Kolton next to me I knew I was safe, but I'm not sure if my body had that registered yet.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
"Okay,"I said as I slid under the covers next to her, loosing lay wrapping my arms around her lower back. "I'm so thankful that you're back under my roof,"I told her.

Alaska,
"I love you so much," I told him softly. "I don't ever want to leave." I rested my hands on his, rubbing my thumb across his hand. He was so gentle, I wasn't used to it.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
"You don't have to,"I told her. Her touch to my hands made goosebumps rise on my skin. It's been a really long time since I've touched her, held her.

Alaska,
"How have you been Kolton?" I asked softly. "and I mean truly." I just wanted to know what was happening. I wanted to know how he was feeling. It had been so long.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
"Honestly?"I said giving a small chuckle. "I've been a wreck since you left. I'm still looking for a job. Tessa asks about you every single day. And I try and put on a mask of happiness for her so I won't bring her down with me,"I said letting out a breathe. I looked at Alaska.

Alaska,
I looked at him, "Tomorrow is a new day. We can start over We'll get my dad in jail, I'll find a job, we'll find a job for you. Things will be just like it used to. I promise," I assured as I kissed him softly.

[lauren.]

Kolton,
I smiled softly as I kissed her back,"First you need to completely heal,"I told her as I softly stroked her lower back. "We just need to take things one at a time,"I told her, loving seeing that eagerness come back to her.

Alaska,
I smiled at him, my face lighting up. "That sounds like a plan," I said before I let out a yawn. "Goodnight, Kolton." I whispered, shutting my eyes.

Kolton,
I smiled,"Goodnight beautiful,"I whispered as I kissed her forehead before dozing off myself.

Alaska,
I was sitting at the table, quite overwhelmed by all the paperwork I had to fill out to get my dad in jail. Tessa came bouncing over to me, "Watcha doing?" She asked with a big smile on her face. I looked over at her, "Just filling out paperwork," I told her. "For what?" She asked. I chewed on my lip, "For the house," I lied to her. She didn't need to get dragged into the this.

Kolton,
I was outside on the back porch talking with a lawyer. Sadly I needed one just in case her father, since he's all powerful, sent us to court. I had made sure to take pictures of Alaska's marks for evidence. "I don't understand why they can't just put him in jail now. Have they not seen the marks?"I pretty much yelled. "Who gives a fuck of he's rich!"I said frustrated as I ran a hand through my hair.

Alaska,
I watched as Tessa looked at Kolton outside. "Why is he yelling?" she asked me. I sighed and sat back, "We're both just a little stressed out right now," I told her. "Are you going to leave again?" She asked me. I smiled and shook my head, "Of course not sweetie." I told her. I felt the pain in my back again, knowing I had to clean up my wounds. "I'll be right back sweetheart." I told her before I left the room.

Tessa,
I watched her leave, then I looked back at daddy. Something didn't seem right. Once Alaska disappeared into the room I quietly followed after her. I saw her take off her shirt, which revealed many bruises and scars. I covered my mouth. What was that? Then I remembered daddy yelling and Alaska saying they were stressed. Did daddy do that to her?
