Oliver,
I had to admit I was pretty pissed that I was forced to live in a house with three other psychos. My parents still thought I was about ten years old. I grumbled as I dragged my suitcase up the almost too perfectly white staircase. First come first serve, I was getting the best room. "This blows, Garrett," I said. Some would say I was talking to no one, but Garrett was always with me. Well, when I wanted him to be, that is.

Ali,
I stared at the two-story house, my throat tightening. This was not where I wanted to spend my teenage years; locked up in a looney bin. Oh, excuse me, a rehabilitation facility. I ran my hand through my hair, eyeing the place around me. I grabbed my bag, holding it tightly in between my fist as I made my way inside. It was way too clean, way too orderly, way too not me.

[lauren.]

Gabriel.
I didn't know how I felt about this... My parents said it would help me with my disorder but I don't have a disorder. They want me to meet with the psychiatrist that would come evaluate us on our progress or crap like that. I tightened my grip on my backpack strap and pulled my suitcase into the house.

Harper.
I was confused. I was sent here? I believe my parents were afraid that I wouldn't be able to make it in the real world being deaf. I went to a hearing school and I believe I did fine. I've only been deaf for eight years. I know how to talk okay and read people's lips but it's whatever. I just hope they know that they put me into a house with...people that could probably easily kill me and no one would find my body. I was already upstairs, looking through the rooms to see which one was the best.

Oliver,
I tossed my suitcase onto the bed, before leaning against my doorway, watching the others. Two hot girls, I wouldn't have a problem with that. I let out a laugh, "I know, right?" I said, talking to Garrett. I got a long, hard stare from one of the girls. "Can I help you, whoever the hell you are," I snapped at her.

Ali,
I pressed my eyebrows together, "It's Ali, freak." I said as I sped past him, into the room directly down the hall. Great, he had an imaginary friend. That would be interesting. I sort of smacked the other girl there with my shoulder on the way. I quickly turned, "I'm so sorry," I said quickly. I could be nice, if you didn't bother me.

[lauren.]

Gabriel.
I trudged up the stairs yawning as I went. I saw a guy in a doorway and two girls talking. So this was the bunch that I had to live with? It didn't seem all that bad, just the guy talking to himself was odd... I found a room that seemed to be okay and got settled in.

Harper.
I gasped as it took me off guard. I dropped my things as I held my shoulder. I turned quickly to I could see the persons face if they started talking. "It's fine. You just caught me off guard,"I said giving a slight smile and shrugging.

Oliver,
I watched the other guy go into his room without a word. This was going to be interesting, let me just say. I pushed off the doorway, "Instead of all of us barely saying a word to each other, why don't we go downstairs and actually get to know each other? I don't want to live here with a bunch of strangers," I said simply with a shrug.

Ali,
I looked over at the guy who I ultimately decided I didn't like. But it was true, I couldn't live in isolation. "I guess that sounds okay." I glanced over at the other guy who walked into his room, then back at the girl. I quickly hurried behind the guy as he headed back downstairs.

[lauren.]

Gabriel.
I heard what the strange guy said and sighed as I slung my stuff into my room then took off after them. I took in my new living requirements as we headed downstairs. Not sure if I would like being here at all.

Harper.
I bent down and gathered my things, not noticing the others leaving. I stepped into a room that I instantly warmed to. I placed my things on the bed and began unpacking, humming quietly, a song that I knew before I went deaf.

Oliver,
I headed into the living room and took a seat on the chair. Once the other two came in I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. I narrowed my eyes; something was missing. "Where's the other girl? Did she not hear a word I said?" I asked before going back up to her room. I stood in the doorway, "You coming?" I asked her.

Ali,
I stood downstairs with the other guy, my arms folded. "I'm Ali, by the way," I said. He wasn't too bad on the eyes at all. But I know we weren't here to be on a lovey dovey game show. I wanted to know why he was here though, because I sure as hell didn't know why I was here.

[lauren.]

Gabriel.
I glanced over at her and nodded my head slightly,"Gabriel,"I said simply as I took a seat. "This isn't all that bad of a place to live. All we need is a cook and maid,"I said chuckling slightly. I heard something behind me, freezing for a moment before relaxing.

Harper.
I continued with what I was doing. I turned around and jumped slightly as I saw someone in the doorway,"Don't sneak up on me like that,"I said clutching my chest and shaking my head. I need to like wire some flashing lights like at my house so I'm not freaked out all the time.

Oliver,
I raised my eyebrow at her, "I spoke loud enough for you to hear me," I said. I rolled my eyes at what Garrett said to me, "shut up," I told him. I looked back over at her, "so are you coming or not?" She seemed very reserved, very gentle.

Ali,
I smirked slightly, "I don't think that's going to happen," I said, noticing him tense up for a moment. "Are you alright?" I asked. Even though none of us were alright; we were all messed up in some way whether we admitted it or not.

[lauren.]

Gabriel.
I looked at her,"Im fine,"I said as I glanced around. Why would he be here? Why would he follow me all the way out here? This will not end up well. I shook my head slightly.

Harper.
I was going to tell him that I couldn't hear him but I didn't. "Um sure. What are we doing?"I asked as I put the clothing item I had in my hand on the bed and started to follow him, trying to keep my eyes in view of his lips so I knew what he was saying.

Oliver,
"We're just going to get to know each other," I said with a shrug. I motioned my head towards the door. "Let's go," I smiled softly as I headed out the door. I made my way back downstairs, before taking a seat. "Now that we're all here, why don't you begin," I started, looking over at Ali.

Ali,
"You're so kind," I rolled my eyes before clearing my throat. "Well, I'm Ali, and I guess you can say I have anger issues, but everyone gets pissed everynow and then right?" I asked, even though I got angry more than every once and a while. "Someone else can go now."

[lauren.]

Gabriel.
I shrugged,"I don't find anger issues a problem to be here. Just don't kill me in my sleep when you're angry,"I said as I sat up straight, clearing my throat. "We'll let's see. I'm Gabriel. I was sent here with so called Delusional disorder but I don't believe that. There really is someone following me,"I said crossing my arms.

Harper.
It was hard to keep up with their talking but I think I got the main parts that I needed to know. Ali, anger issues. Gabriel, delusional disorder? Strange.

Oliver,
I listened to the others, knowing that there really wasn't anyone following Gabriel and Ali did have to potential to injure. "I'm Oliver, I'm a schizophrenic," I said with a chuckle. "Garrett and I actually get a kick out this whole diagnosis anyways, it's shit."

Ali,
I raised my eyebrow, "Garrett?" I asked. "My best friend," he replied to me. "Yeah, okay," I replied. Definitely in here for the right reason. I looked over at the girl; she seemed way to calm to be here.
