I led him to the living room where Taylor sat. "Taylor honey," I said as
she looked at me. "This is Sam, he's your father," I told her. She stated
at him, "My dad?" She squeaked. A smile spread across her face as she ran
over and gave him a big hug. I folded my arms and smiled slightly.

[lauren.]

Sam;
I was a little shocked that she was so easy to hug me. I was frozen for a moment before I enveloped Taylor in my arms, hugging her. "Hi Taylor,"I said smiling as I felt my eyes sting with tears.

"Hi daddy," she said quietly. I knew this was a rather big thing for
her to take in. But I didn't want her to get used to him being here all
the time, I still didn't like him.

[lauren.]

Sam;
I let out a tearful chuckle as I released her,"Gosh, how old are you?"I asked smiling at her, as I wiped a few stray tears away.

"I'm seven," she said shyly as she looked at him. "Why are you
crying?" She asked him. I sort of fet bad now, I had never seen him
emotional like that. I guess I would be too though. I bit my lip.

[lauren.]

I chuckled softly and shook my head,"I'm just happy to finally meet you,"I said as I glanced over at Hannah. "Do you mind if I stay for a little bit?"I asked.

I shook my head, "That's fine Sam," I said with a small smile.
Taylor tugged on his hand, "Do you wanna come see my room?"
She asked happily. She seemed to enjoy all this, which made me relax.
I took a seat on the couch. I was exhausted, and Sam being with
her right now was extremely helpful.

[lauren.]

Sam;
I grinned,"I'd love to, sweetheart,"I said sending Hannah a thankful look before Taylor took me to her room.

Taylor pranced down the hallway before she reached her room.
It was all pink and princess filled. "I love princesses," she giggled.
She went over to a chest, "This is where all my dress up is. Mommy
and I play almost every night," she smiled. "Oh and my dolls, she
plays that a lot with me too."

[lauren.]

Sam;
I stepped into her room and chuckled at how much pink there was,"She plays with you every night?"I asked raising an eyebrow as I sat down on her tiny bed. I felt like a giant in here.

"Well not every night. Sometimes she gets home really late so
I have to stay over at my babysitters house. She's usually really
tired when she gets home," she said as she looked down.

[lauren.]

Sam;
I tilted my head slightly as I picked up a stuffed animal that was on her bed,"Why does mommy get home late?"I asked.

[haileyjordan]

"It's usually late night weddings. That's really all she does, or at
least all she tells me. And on her free days she spends it with me." Taylor explained
as she sat next to Sam on the bed. "I love her very much," she smiled.

[lauren.]

Sam;
I smiled as I rubbed Taylor's back lightly,"& she loves you very much also,"I said looking down at her. I don't know why I stayed away from Hannah as long as I did. I could definitely see both Hannah and I in Taylor, it was obvious.

"Why aren't you with mommy?" Taylor asked. Being so young
she didn't realize that was probably a sensitive subject. Taylor
held her stuffed unicorn tightly in her arms as she looked up at him.
