Richard; I frowned slightly,"Like I know their names,"I muttered as I rook a seat on one of the chairs. I glanced over at the chick again then back out the window. People here are starting to annoy me.

Grace "You'll get used to people being jerks around here. Y'know, considering what most of them have been through they're bound to have some issues," I shrugged, leaning my book on my knees that were currently tucked up to my neck.
Alec I frowned as the girl turned bright red and then left the room, feeling the side of my face after she'd left. I did have syrup on my face, but judging by the colour of hers she hadn't noticed until I'd called her our on looking at me. Either way, I wasn't used to people being so ... cocky with me. Training days were definitely going to be fun.

Tess I sighed and ran a hand through my hair, going quickly back to the room they'd assigned me on the fifth floor down from the ground.

Richard; I raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. I was probably one of the ones with problems. I have freakishly strange powers but she didn't know that.

Okay guys we be skipping to training day, basically they're all in the underground training bit of the safe house and Alec is working them like dogs training them to be soldiers okay okay. _____
Grace Training day number thirteen arrived, and I was up and dressed and ready by 8. There were four training days a week, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and they were all mandatory. There was always the option of going and training anyway even when it wasn't a training day but nobody really ever did that because the workout we got with Alec in charge was honestly enough to last anyone a lifetime. Training lasted from 8:30 in the morning until 6:30 at night and there were only three breaks; mid morning, lunch, and mid afternoon. If you didn't get done what you wanted to get done then, then too bad. Nobody was allowed to leave training, ever. People often speculated that Alec had been in the army before he came to the safe house, because where else would he learn to be as ruthless and commanding as he is? But it wasn't like anyone was going to ask him. The whole training thing wasn't so bad after a few times though; you kind of got used to it and it became easier, which probably meant it was working.
Alec I was already down in the training room, waiting for everyone to arrive. They were all aware they had to be there for 8:30 or they started the day with 10 extra laps around the entire room, which wasn't exactly small; it was big enough to hold a full sized obstacle course and have a running track along the edge without it being too cramped. We were working on expanding it anyway. Everyone started the day with fifteen laps around the room, ten extra if they were late. Then everyone goes through the obstacle course twice, slowest time gets five more laps. Then weight training, another five laps and another run through the obstacle course before it's even the mid-morning break. The newer ones would be exhausted by then, but the one's who'd been around a while would be able to handle it.

Tess I was in the farthest underground section of the safehouse, sitting on the floor in a pair of extremely loose shorts and a huge t-shirt, wearing a pair of tennis shoes you just knew were meant for running. Some lady had given them to me for this specific day, a training day, she called it. I didn't really want to be here -- at all -- but I was being sheltered here and apparently this was mandatory if you stayed at the house. My body so wasn't built for any physical activity other than running, which I'd done a fair bit of back at school when we had races and such. I actually used to like it a lot, I just hadn't done it in quite some time. I just sat there and quietly stretched my legs as people began arriving.
Elijah I yawned, stretching my arms over my head as I entered the training room. I had a to-go coffee cup in my hand, thanks to that nice chick who sat around the kitchen until it was absolutely positively time to be down here every morning. I took a long swallow of it, totally relishing in it going through me and waking me up. I needed this every training day. Alec was alright as a person, although most people didn't like him -- I really liked messing with him -- but he was a fucking tyrant. I downed the rest of the coffee just as I entered the room, tossing the empty cup into the bin beside the door and cheekily waving at Alec as I entered. "Well, if it isn't my favorite closet dictator."

Richard; I had just woken up. I mean, it's just training day. I don't need to dress anywhere nice for that. I pulled on some shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes. I yawned as I walked into the room looking around and seeing pretty much everyone already here. I sighed as I flexed my arms and leaned against a wall. I glanced around, sort of tapping into everyone's mind to see what was going to happen today.
Dawnielle; I had been in the training room for quite awhile already, my stretches already done with. I liked to exercise and stuff, but I kind of think that Alec is going to push us past our ability of what we can do. I looked around, stretching my ankles.

Grace I was apparently one of the last to make it to the training room, since everyone else was there before me. I wasn't late though, which meant I wouldn't have to run extra laps. I kind of wasn't looking forward to training at all because I hadn't slept well and running around all day did not seem like the best idea but these things were mandatory so it wasn't like I had a choice. Even if I'd tried to stay in bed or something Alec probably would have found me and made me do extra training anyway, so it really wasn't worth the hassle.
Alec "Yeah, yeah, whatever Elijah. The dictator orders you to stretch and start your laps. And everyone else if we're all here," I said, looking around the room. Seemed like it. I'd already stretched and everything so I was ready. I often liked to participate in the activities with the trainees, mainly to show them how it's done, but a lot of them I liked to just shout threats at them from the sidelines. It seemed to make them more motivated in any case so I wasn't about to stop.

Tess I heard the guy who seemed to be in charge say we could start running when we were ready. I'd been stretching for about fifteen or twenty minutes as it was, so I figured I was about as stretched as I could get and I stood, moving to the running track and stretching a little bit more before starting off at a bit of a short jog. It felt good, running again.
Elijah I waved the old jerk off, plopping myself down onto a bit of exposed floor and stretching half-heartedly. I was always the slowest runner, even though I could be okay if I wanted to be. I always had the slowest time in everything because I didn't care for his peddly little non-power training.

Richard; I breathed in deeply before I began my own stretching. I looked over at the girl who had talked to me for a little while yesterday. It was definitely strange being here and I'm not one to make friends very well, because of my temper. But it's whatever.
Dawnielle; I took off at a good even pace so I didn't hurt myself in the beginning. I guess I was pretty much invisible here, though I doubt to Alec. He keeps a pretty close eye on everyone... I think.

Grace After I finished stretching I started jogging along the track at a reasonable pace. I'd made the mistake of starting off too fast on my first few training days and I was tired before the first 5 laps were even done with so I'd learnt to start myself slow and work my speed up.
Alec I watched carefully as people started to jog. I had to keep track on how many each of them had done so it was fair and they all did the same. Having them all start at the same time probably would have been easier but you know I'm not that much of a dictator, contrary to what others might have you believe.

Tess I tried to keep my pace steady, and I was still going pretty smoothly. At least I was going okay at the moment.
Elijah I was slouching, as usual. I was going to be the last to start. We all knew that.

Richard; I finished stretching and started running. This was all stupid but it's whatever. I liked to workout. It's how I kept my strength good.
Dawnielle; I kept the pace I've been at, saving the boost for last of course. I had some hair falling in my face causing me to get frustrated.

Grace Keeeeeeping pace. Keeeeeeeping pace. Keep the motherfucking pace, bitches.
Alec "Come on, slacker," I said, nudging Elijah as I went past him. He was always so lazy and unenthusiastic during the physical exercises but when it came to power training he was all over it. Damn kid annoyed me sometimes.

Tess I was still one of the first in the line of people running, but I could already start to feel my legs getting tired. I'd already done four laps. How many more did I have to do? Five? Six?
Elijah I rolled my eyes before looking around and making sure everybody else had started running. They had. I sighed and stood, stretching my arms over my head with a yawn. "Fiiiiiine," I said, and started the slowest jog on planet earth.
