Gage,
I ran my hand through my hair, flinching as the pain shot though my hand. I growled and got up, walking down the street. I really didn't know where I was going, but I was too pissed off to care. I stared at the ground, rubbing my wrists. I always did that when I was nervous.

[lauren.]

Quinn;
I chewed on my lip nervously as I walked down the sidewalk, trying to find Gage as the water poured down on me. I swalloeed thinking this was a bad idea because what if he hurt me again and left me out here. I saw a figure walking and noticed it as Gage,"G-gage!"I called out.

Gage,
I turned back and looked at her, then continued walking. I really had no desire of going to her. I knew she was only getting me because she didn't want to be in trouble. Hell, she could get I trouble, I didn't care.

[lauren.]

Quinn;
I huffed as he looked at me but continued walking,"Gage! We need to get back to the house,"I said catching up to him.

Gage,
I turned around to face her, anger filling my eyes. "That isn't my house. Maybe you should go back, I don't need too. No one gives a fuck what I do, and you're only out here to try and save your own ass Quinn," I snapped at her. Half the time I never meant to tell at her, it was just my instinct.

[lauren.]

Quinn;
I glared,"That is your house because you have to stay there. And if nobody gave a fuck what you do then why are you at a house where people took you in? And last, I'm not only trying to save my ass but yours also!"I yelled at him, crossing my arms.

Gage,
I rolled my eyes, "Do you really think I care whether or not I get in trouble? I've been through it all, it really doesn't matter," I said as I clenched my fists. I knew that she was right about someone caring about me, but I wasn't going to admit it.

[lauren.]

Quinn;
"I don't care if you've been through it all. If you've been through it all then why not go towards the good?"I said stomping my foot.

Gage,
I stared at her, "Because that's just not who I am Quinn," I said simply as I began walking back to the house. I chose to go back not because she told me to, just because I simply didn't know where I was going.

[lauren.]

Quinn;
I followed along side Gage, glancing up at him every once in awhile,"Why can't you change that then?"I asked chewing on my lip. I didn't know what he's been through.

Gage,
I let out an irritated sigh, "I just can't Quinn. That's it," I said in a short tone. I looked down at my knuckles, wiping the excess blood on my pants before I shoved my hands in my pockets. The only person who knew about my past was her step-father, and I was barely comfortable with him knowing.

[lauren.]

Quinn;
I pursed my lips not understanding why he couldn't. I chewed on the inside of my cheek as I saw the house come into view,"I don't understand,"I said.

[haileyjordan]

Gage,
"You don't need to understand. That's just it. I'm fucked up, is that good enough for you?" I asked her, a little angrily. "My childhood was fucked up. I don't think you understand what it feels like to not be loved, so of course you wouldn't fucking understand." I walked up to the door, ripping it open, my hands trembling. Everytime I thought about it I wanted to break down and cry, but I was better than that; I didn't cry.

[lauren.]

Quinn;
I frowned as I stood where I was, watching him walk inside. "The question is will you let anyone love you,"I said to him, hoping I heard him. Yes, he had a bad past but sometimes you have to put that in the past to move forward.

Gage,
I heard what she said, biting my tongue to keep from exploding. I stormed down to our room as I slammed the door behind me, causing the door to rattle. I ripped my sheets off of my bed, punching the wall as I ripped things to the ground. 'You're just a little piece of shit Gage. You are nothing.' The words played over and over in my head as I saw my dad repeatedly beating me, my mother in the other room, ignoring the situation. I sat on my bed as I stared at the floor, tears attempting to reach the brim of my eyes, but I wouldn't let them. It only came out as gasping breaths.
