Landon,
She was brutally rude, but she had every right to be. It was every man for himself out here. "Do you want to get caught? I'm trying to help you. You have to trust me." I said, "unless you'd rather get caught, because you and I both know you'll hit a dead end soon enough, then go ahead." This was already more exciting than a whole week back home.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
My jaw was set as I looked him over but I didn't really have time. "Fine, but if you turn me in I will find you and kill you,"I said pushing him along to go. I know this town back and forth but I knew I had taken a wrong turn and didn't really know how to get out of this one except to climb.

Landon,
I was extremely surprised she had trusted me, but I knew now I had to get her completely away from them. I ran through the alleys and clear enough away from the main part of the city to a small secluded area just outside the hustle and bustle. "You should be safe here, until you decide to run back in there again." I said, catching my breath.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I wasn't out of breathe, since I pretty much did this for a living. I pursed my lips as I looked at him and starte pacing slightly. "I've never seen you on the streets before,"I said chewing on my bottom lip. "And your clothes are...not cheap,"I said as I untied the scarf from my neck.

Landon,
I glanced over at her, "Hand me downs," I lied, "I don't live in this part of the city, only here for a visit." I knew I shouldn't lie to her, but there was no way I could tell her I was the prince, plus she'd never believe me. "Is this what you do for a living?" I asked.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
"Those are hand me downs? Damn,"I muttered shaking my head. "I wouldn't say a living. But this is how I live, I have no other way,"I said getting a good look at him now. Honestly he was strikingly gorgeous but I wasn't going to let that get into my head. He actually looks familiar but I can't put my thumb on it.

Landon,
I couldn't even imagine a life like hers. But I wasn't going to ask her why, that was too personal. "I'm L-" I instantly stopped myself. I couldn't tell her my real name-she would question that. "Levi," I said. That would be a good cover up.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I raised an eyebrow as he had stopped himself quickly,"Lydia,"I said kicking at a rock. "Don't expect me to be all classy and curtesy for you or anything,"I said rolling my eyes. "I don't have time for that crap and plus I hate it when the girls do that,"I said as I took the apple out if my pocket and took a bite. I ripped some bread off and tossed it to Trigger.

Landon,
I chuckled, "Never intended on you doing that in the first place. You definitely have your set rules don't you? Not a big fan of the fancy?" I asked curiously. She was very blunt about everything, but I guess when you had to live like she did it was the only lifestyle she knew.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I shrugged as I leaned against the wall,"Why should I be fancy when everyone is so hateful to me?"I asked raising an eyebrow. "Especially rich people,"I said wrinkling my nose.

Landon,
I could tell right away that she would hate me if she knew who I really was. "They only act that way if you act a certain way." I shrugged. "Nothing's going to change unless you want it to."

[lauren.]

Lydia.
"Are you kidding me? When I first went into the streets I was trying my hardest to do what I could, especially without stealing. An you know what happened? I was pushed around, stepped on, told I wasn't good enough, and was even told to go die,"I said pointing a finger at him, moving closer with every thing I said. "So don't tell me that I've been acting a certain way to make them hate me because it's all in the dumb bitch rich people,"I said not liking this guy at all.

Landon,
I put my hands up in surrender, "Wow calm down. You are obviously extremely quick to judge. Did you ever think that not everybody is like that? You just form the idea that anyone higher than you is a prick, so you automatically shut out the idea of trying." I said. Her personality was definitely not appealing to me.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I glared at him for a long while,"You don't know me, so don't even try to tell me if I'm doing something wrong or that I'm the one at fault,"I said turning on my heel quickly. I started to leave, I didn't want to be in his company anymore. Yes, he saved me this time but I didn't owe him anything. I could hear Trigger growling but then soon enough was following me.

Landon,
I watched her walk away, shaking my head. "Maybe if you were a tad nicer, things would be different." I called as I started off in the other direction. It was amazing how rude people were. I knew that she was only like that because she had no where to go, but maybe she'd be able to get help if she was nicer.
