Landon,
It had been a few days since I had gone out to the city, and I was eager to be back. I strolled through the streets, still captivated by everything around me.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
It was just another day, like any other. Doing the same thing that would keep me from starving. I didn't have the confidence that I used to have anymore though. Ever since I met that stupid Leo guy something's changed & I don't like it. I glanced around me as I took a shiny red apple slipping it into my pocket, but before it could release from my hand, my wrist was caught by a big rough had. "Now what do we have here?"he snarled

Landon,
I walked down the street, and catching my eye was a girl-Lydia. The seller didn't seem happy with her at all. Was she always getting into trouble? I stayed back for a moment-she could handle herself. I hoped.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I froze for a moment shocked that he came out of nowhere. I then snapped back into mode,"Um, I believe it's an apple in my hand sir,"I said raising an eyebrow. He growled,"Don't get snorting with me, peasant,"he said pushing me rather roughly to the ground, causing my pants to rip at the knee producing blood. "I've been missing a lot of food lately and I have finally caught the thief red handed. THIEF!"he yelled causing everyone to look. I didn't have time, I quickly got up and started running but was slower than normal due to my small wound.

Landon,
I sighed, knowing she wasn't going to get anywhere running like that. I took off in a run after her before anyone else started running. Sure people would question what the hell I was going, but I didn't want her to get hurt. "You're not going to get very far with your injury. Let me help you please. Get on my back, I can get you out of her much faster." If she didn't want me to I'd drop it and let her get caught, simple as that.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
"Shit,"I muttered as I heard and saw Leo suddenly by me. I glanced back my heart pounding,"Fine,"I said quickly as I climbed onto his back. This was so strange, having someone save me twice in a row when I was usually able to save myself.

Landon,
I took off in a run, quite surprised by how quick I was able to run. I went away from the city and towards the forest. Once I knew that we were far enough away, I set Lydia down. "Again? Really Lydia?" I asked.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
"Oh shut up. If he hasn't of pushed me down I could have easily been able to get away,"I grumbled as I pulled my pant leg up, wincing slightly. It was a little gash but nothing too extreme that I have dealt with before and have scars now.

Landon,
"You act like you're all tough, but Lydia this is going to get you killed. What if I wasn't there? They would've easily caught you. You would've been thrown in jail." I said, shaking my head.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I laughed bitterly,"Maybe being thrown in jail will be better than what I have. They give free food don't they?"I asked smirking slightly as I grabbed my small water jug and poured it over the woun to clean it the best I could.

Landon,
"Yeah free food and a free beating every single day." I said. "Let me help you Lydia. I don't want you to say no because I know you need the help, even if you won't admit it." She was extremely stubborn.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I rolled my eyes,"Whatever,"I mumbled as I looked up at him expectingly, waiting for him to do something. There's not much that could be done.

Landon,
I looked back down at her, "Do you want me to get you anything? Like legit, paid for food? When was the last time you actually had a decent meal?" I asked. I was surprised she was as fit as she was, considering this was how she got her food.
