Lydia.
I frowned as I stood up, pushing my pant leg down,"I don't need your charity. I've been making it on my own since I was thirteen,"I said as I lifted my chin slightly as in pride. It wasn't something to take pride in but at how long I was able to keep myself alive.

[haileyjordan]

Landon,
"If you were dying you wouldn't ask for help would you? You know sometimes it's okay to get help. You can't do everything on your own." I said, looking over at her with my arms crossed. Everybody needed someone at some point in their life.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
"I'm not asking for anything but I won't turn it away if it appears,"I said shrugging. I breathed in deeply as I glanced at him. I wouldn't openly say, yes I need this. He would just have to do it. I didn't like asking for things.

[haileyjordan]

Landon,
I sucked in a breath, "You definitely are something," I said, shaking my head. I was going to buy her food-she needed a decent meal. "You do this every day, huh?"

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I nodded as I crossed my arms,"That's the only way I can get food for myself and Trigger,"I said actually looking him over now. He actually was pretty gorgeous. But he looked too clean to be poor.

[haileyjordan]

Landon,
"And there's no way you'd let me give you money or food unless I basically shoved it at you, correct?" I asked her with a slight smirk. She was the get-it-done type of girl;I liked it.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I pursed my lips staying quiet,"If rather not answer that question,"I said biting my lip as I looked away. I glanced up at the sky,"It's almost time for me to head back,"I said.

[haileyjordan]

Landon,
"Oh," I said softly, looking at her. "Well...is there any way we could, well...meet up again? On terms where you aren't being chased?" I asked. I wanted her get to know her-she was a wake up call to me on how reality was like.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
"Ummm.."I trailed off as I stared at him. I don't have any friends, well besides Trigger. I cleared my throat,"Uh, I guess?"I said feeling a little confused. Someone actually wants to hang around me?

[haileyjordan]

Landon,
I was actually a bit relieved that she was at least a little willing. "Do you have any preference of where? You know the best places to go, I'm assuming." I said, shoving my hands in my pockets as I looked at her.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I thought about it for a moment,"I think it'd be best to meet out here. I'm not exactly welcome in town,"I said shrugging slightly. Why would someone like him want to be around me? He seems so much more...sophisticated and nice than most the people around.

[haileyjordan]

Landon,
I smiled softly, "That sounds good." I said with a nod, "is noon alright?" Tomorrow we were going to talk-as much as I could get out of her without pissing her off that is.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I nodded,"Noon sounds fine,"I said giving him a look that I wasn't really sure what it meant. I found him..okay. I gave him a slight nod and then limped slightly into the forest, disappearing.

Landon,
I sighed, slumping slightly. I knew that I couldn't keep doing this for too long-my parents had been asking questions. I began walking back, quite a lot on my mind. I felt extremely guilty that I was lying to her, but she couldn't know who I really was.

[lauren.]

Lydia.
I trudged through the forest a little ways and finally made it to my little cave area. I lowered myself inside and went over to my self-make bed. I winced slightly at my knee. It would probably get infected, like all my other wounds I've gotten.
