Casey,
I whipped my car around a few turns until I saw the coffee shop come into view. I saw Alexandria beginning to walk away. She definitely meant what she said. I drove up next to her in my 1960 Pontiac, the car my dad gave me. "Is one minute late too late for you?" I asked through my rolled down window with a smirk.

[lauren.]

Alex.
I raised an eyebrow as I walked to his window,"You know, I kind of took you for a gentleman, which gentlemen are never late. Not even one minute,"I said smirking. "But I guess I was wrong,"I said shrugging as I straightened up and walked around his his car and slid into the passenger seat.

Casey,
I chuckled, "Well then you sure have a lot to learn my dear." I said, driving off down the road. I had forgotten that I still hadn't cleaned up the now dried blood that was down the side of my face. I usually just went back to a hotel when I was done, not going out with a girl.

[lauren.]

Alexandria.
I pulled my seatbelt on and ran my palm again his upholstery. "You have a really ni-"I stopped as I saw the blood and slight gash on his forehead. "What the hell happened to you?"I asked as I gripped the side of his face.

Casey,
Shit, I forgot about that. "Don't worry about it, it wasn't a big deal. Something that comes with my job." I said, looking at her. "I guess I forgot to clean myself up." This was my fault-now she was going to ask even more questions.

[lauren.]

Alex.
I raised an eyebrow,"Are you crazy? Don't worry about it? That gash is still bleeding,"I said shaking my head. I began to wonder what kind of job he did that made him get hurt. I told him the directions to my apartment, still glancing at him every once in awhile.

Casey,
We pulled up to her apartment, I turned the car off, then got out. I wiped some of the blood off the my forehead, wiping it onto my pants. I kept telling myself this was a bad idea.

[lauren.]

Alex.
"Come on. Lets get you cleaned up,"I said shaking my head as I grabbed his arm pulling him behind me. I pulled my keys out unlocking my door and going inside. I pushed him onto the couch,"Stay here,"I said pointing a finger at him then heading to the bathroom

Casey,
I looked around her apartment (staying seated of course). I needed to start thinking of some good excuse about this gash. The last spirit put up a nasty fight, sending me right into the side of a counter. Her apartment relaxed me though, something I hadn't felt in a while.

[lauren.]

Alex.
I was going to get him to tell me whether he wanted to or not. A guy just doesn't show up to a date with a bleeding wound! Wait..did I just think date? Shit, Alex. I shook my head as I grabbed what I needed. "Okay turn towards me,"I said once I took a seat next to him.

Casey,
I turned my head towards her, keeping quiet. I had never had anyone clean my wounds before. "Nice place you have here." I said softly, glancing at her.

Alex.
I shrugged as I began to fix him up,"It's not much. All I can get on the salary I'm paid,"I said as I focused and then finished cleaning him up. I patted the side of his cheek,"All better,"I said then realizing how close we were.

Casey,
I looked at her, into her eyes. I felt myself tense up. Why the hell was this happening? I cleared my throat, "Thanks," I said, leaning back slightly. "So how long have you been working there?" I asked, trying to change the subject.

Alex.
I cleared my throat and sat back against the arm of the couch,"About three years, maybe a little more,"I said shrugging. I didn't want to talk about me. "What do you do?"I asked crossing my arms.

Casey,
I knew she was going to put this on my again. I looked away, "Believe me, you wouldn't want to know even if I did tell you. But I barely know you, I can't tell you. I'm sorry Alexandria." I said. I felt bad, but if I told her, she'd think I was crazy.
