We all start somewhere. Where's it going to be?

Tanner,
I nodded, "It'll be my pleasure," I grinned at her. I opened the door to the classroom, allowing her to walk in first. She seemed like a genuinely good person, I liked it. Someone who got to know you for who you are, not what you have. As kids came into the classroom I was instantly greeted by about a dozen of them, whom I hated. I acknowledged them, but didn't put much effort in it.

[lauren.]

Olivia.
Here came the awkward part, trying to pick a seat that wasn't already taken. And, I didn't want to seem eager by sitting by Tanner. Wouldn't that be weird and needy? I glanced at some of the students who walked in, getting strange stares. Eventually I just took a seat behind Tanner, hoping it wasn't anyones. I suck at being a new student.

Tanner,
I turned around in my chair to look at Olivia. "I guess I don't know what it feels like to be new at a school, but the more you think about it the more nervous you'll be. Not everyone is as cold hearted as you think. If you just act friendly there's people who will be your friend, trust me," I smiled. "Hey Tanner," Two girls giggled as they walked past me. It was common, but so goddamn annoying. I smirked and nodded at them, then let out a sharp breath.

[lauren.]

Olivia.
I watched as the girls passed us but didn't make it seem like I was jealous. I looked at Tanner then at some of the people in the class,"It's not as easy as you think,"I mumbled. I watched at how easily Tanner interacted with everyone and it kind of made me jealous. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. "You seem to know everyone,"I said biting my lip.

Tanner,
"Honestly? I wish I didn't." I didn't want to tell her why I knew everybody. "I would advise to keep a small group of friends, save yourself the trouble." I leaned in closer to her, "I hate half of them anyways," I said quieter, with a smirk.

[lauren.]

Olivia.
God, that smirk is gorgeous and he smells fantastic. I smiled,"Then maybe I'll just end up having you as a friend. That's a small group,"I said laughing quietly. I didn't want to bring attention to us but it's not like that matters. It seems like Tanner is a magnet for the eye.

Tanner,
I laughed softly, "Hey, I don't mind," I said. She seemed really relaxed, even though I knew she was nervous. I liked girls who didn't try to hard to impress anyone. I glanced around, seeing a few people staring at us. "Just a disclaimer. You might want to get used to that. It sucks." I advised. The only thing kids cared about these days was money.

[lauren.]

Olivia.
I glanced around and shrugged slightly,"So what are you then? To get all of this attention. The star football player? Possibly basketball?"I asked raising an eyebrow as I crossed my arms placing them on my desk.

Tanner,
I laughed, "In your dreams," I said, shaking my head. "My family is very...wealthy. So getting mooched off of is daily thing to me." I said, eyeing the other kids in the classroom. "You'd think they'd be all over people like that, but not here." I shrugged.

[lauren.]

Olivia.
I smiled as I watched him closely,"You really don't like it here,"I said shaking my head. "I believe I was told by someone to make the best of where you are,"I said repeating somewhat of what he had said earlier. And plus, I wanted to lighten to mood with possibly a sucky joke.

Tanner,
I grinned at her attempt to change my view on things. "I like your sense of humor." I said. "But you're right, I'm not even taking my own advice." I shook my head, "You're all right Olivia." I told her with a nod. She didn't seem the slightest interested in my money, I enjoyed it.

[lauren.]

Olivia.
I shrugged,"I guess you're alright also,"I said with a smile. He was more than alright. But I didn't want to get into that. I didn't want to read too much into just some harmless fun...flirting?

Tanner,
The bell had rung for class to start, which I was not looking forward to. I chuckled at Olivia's comment, "Thanks, I guess?" I grinned before I turned around in my seat, resting my head in the palm of my hand. Today was going to be a nice change.

[lauren.]

Olivia.
I smiled and bit my lip as I looked down at the desk. Maybe everything was going to be alright. I'm making at least one acquaintance today so that's good. I looked up as the teacher walked in and started with role.

Tanner,
Class seemed to drag on and I had quite a difficult time trying to keep my eyes open. My head would fall a couple times, but I quickly caught myself. The bell rang and I jumped slightly in my seat, looking around quickly before I grabbed my back, hoping no one saw that little incident.
