Do fairy tales always come with happy endings?

I looked up at her, "I was trying to find you are you were gone!" I said, "And no I'm not entirely okay." I added with a huff. Do I tell her? Would she hate me? I felt like a horrible, violated person now.

[lauren.]

Aurora.
I kicked my heels off as I crossed my arms,"I sort of left.. I couldn't find you and you seemed like you were having a good time,"I said as I sat on the end of her bed next to her. "What happened?"I asked.

Ariel,
I groaned, rolling onto my stomach. "Horrible things Aurora. Horrible, horrible things." I said. "I had drunk sex with a douchebag." I mumbled. The more I said it the worse I felt.

[lauren.]

Aurora.
My eyes widened with shock. Ariel? I looked down at her but couldn't see her face,"You don't seem drunk.."I said slowly. "Are you sure it happened?"I asked biting my lip as I rubbed her back gently.

Ariel,
I laughed slightly, "I'm positive. I was looking for you and then this guy came into the picture and then it happened. I don't remember any details." I said, sitting up as I ran my hand through my hair, shaking my head.

[lauren.]

Aurora.
"Dang, Ariel,"I said quietly,"Well don't even think about it anymore. It's in the past,"I said softly. "But are you okay? Are you hurt in anyway?"I asked nervous for her. This so wasn't like her so she's probably freaking out.

Ariel,
I sighed, "Yeah, I'll be okay." I said, looking over at her. "So where the hell were you?" I asked, tilting my head slightly with a small smirk.

Sorry I couldn't get back to you! I had rehearsal for five hours yesterday lol

Aurora.
I flushed slightly and shrugged as I straightened out my dress,"I went with Christian to a coffee shop down the way,"I said glancing at her. I was ready for the scolding because I knew it was going to happen when I left with him.

Ariel,
I scrunched my nose up when I heard his name. I knew I had no right to talk considering what I just did, but that was a one time thing. "Aurora," I whined, "I'm begging you not to get involved. You're only going to get hurt." I said, shaking my head.

[lauren.]

Aurora.
"We've talked, Ariel. He doesn't seem like anything that you've said. Maybe it's the company he hangs around. He said he doesn't do what he used to do,"I said twisting my fingers in my hand. I shouldn't have to explain myself since I'm an adult but I know she's just looking out for me. That's what best friends are for.

Ariel,
I sighed, "You know he's just saying that right? It's what guys do to get in your head." I told her, "Aurora please. If you just forget about him it'll be like it never happened." There was no way I was letting her get with him.

[lauren.]

Aurora.
I frowned, pouting my lip,"This isn't fair, Ariel,"I huffed,"Plus it's going to be hard if I actually make it into the play,"I said getting off her bed. "I'm going to shower,"I mumbled as I grabbed the things I needed, leaving the room. This wasn't fair at all.

Christian,
Today was the day to figure out who got what part. I didn't really have any nerves, but I was nervous for Aurora. I walked up to the list posted, glad that I got the role of Prince Charming. My eyes scanned the part of Cinderella and my heart sunk a bit when I saw Aurora as her understudy. I was happy for her, but it wasn't what I wanted.

Aurora.
I have been dreading to go see the cast list since I knew it was posted. I needed to do it now since practice was this evening. I gripped the straps to my backpack as I turned the corner to see Christian looking at the list. "Don't tell me, it's bad isn't it,"I said with a sigh.

Christian,
I shook my head, looking over at her, "It's not bad, it's just not the best. You're Cinderella's understudy." I told her, a hint of disappointment in my voice. "I thought for sure you would be lead."
