Caroline I shifted nervously while he spoke, still smiling. The thoughts of Viola still stuck in my head, and slightly paranoid visions of Seamus or Dean charging into the room entered as well, but I knew that the both of them were taken by girls who would sooner bite their heads off than let them crash a wedding at Borderick's. (Lavendar Brown and Parvarti Patil...I'd always known I'd liked them.) Gregory continued talking after a short silence, but I wasn't paying attention to the words very well.

Draco "Awright then," Gregory said after the pause. "The vows then." He shuffled through a few bits of paper before speaking again. "Now, do you, Draco Malfoy, take Caroline Hanna Smith t' be your lawfully wedded wife, and you promise, before these witnesses, t' lav 'er, t' comfort 'er, honor and keep 'er, in sickness and in 'ealth, and forsakin' awl ovvers, keep thee only anto her so long as you bofe shall live?" I looked down at Caroline, taking both her hands in mine around her bouquet. "I do."

Caroline My breath caught in my throat as he said so, and I grinned, looking down at our hands. We were doing this. We were really doing this. Suddenly I was just so happy, I felt like I could skip/ I never skipped. It was frivolous. But right then, I wanted to.
Before I knew it, it was my turn. "Do you, Caroline Smith, take Draco Malfoy t' be your lawfully wedded wife, and you promise, before these witnesses, t' lav 'im, t' comfort 'im, honor and keep 'im, in sickness and in health, and forsakin' awl ovvers, keep thee only anto 'im so long as you bofe shall live?" Given the fact that I really had to concentrate to understand Gregory, it was a wonder I'd understood his words to be vows at all, but I did. I squeezed Draco's hands slightly, closing my eyes and smiling slightly as I breathed out, "I do." It was done. Ohmygosh, I was done. skjfhljkadsbgvjkDBSVJKHBFJKBdsnbvhdbhsdkjvHGVbsjkjbvdjlasfjhbvjgdfnv

Draco I grinned at her. We were married. Husband and Wife. Mr and Mrs Malfoy. "Lavely. You may kiss the bride," Gregory said half-heartedly, because he knew we were no longer listening, just focusing on the fact that we were married. I leaned down and kissed Caroline, and it was like I'd never kissed her before, as if her new title as my wife made her different, better. It was almost like there was suddenly so much more of her to love.

D'AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ______________________
Caroline I grinned and leaned forward into him, hugging him tightly after we'd broken apart. "We did it," I whispered, suppressing a squeal.

Draco "I know," I said, hugging her tightly. "You're Mrs Caroline Malfoy now," I said, grinning over her shoulder.

Caroline I squealed quietly and sighed happily, feeling like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders.

Draco "Awrigh', awrigh', yer married now. We do 'ave ovver customers y'know," Gregory said, making shooing motions with his hands. I rolled my eyes. "Calm down, bloody arse," I muttered under my breath. "Suppose we should go change," I said, taking hold of Caroline's hand and walking back through the door to the changing rooms or whatever they were called.

Caroline I followed Draco, still grinning. "Caroline," Melody called, and I turned to see her. "Hey! Yeah, we'll get her all changed up," she told Draco, flashing him an apologetic smile before dragging me off to the room in which I'd gotten ready. "You! Just got married! To Draco Malfoy!"
I laughed quietly and nodded at her, picking up my neatly folded clothes and stepping behind the dressing screen. I began dressing. "Yes...Yes, I did."
"How long's that been going on? Is that why it's complicated? His family? Oh my gosh, do you realize how many girls at hogwarts had fanatasies about him? even the older ones? Merlin, you're lucky, Caroline," Melody said, laughing again. I laughed a long with her.
"Urm, well, we've actually been friends since our earlier years at Hogwarts," I said quietly. "We started dating on and off a lot in my fourth year -- I'ma year younger than him, you know -- and during the year before the battle I actually spent a spell in the Manor. Just not actually, you know, in the way you'd think," I muttered, wincing at the memories. Rookwood, his wand. Dolohov, harsh woods in a harsher tone, Draco being the only one to keep me sane those months and eventually helping me escape.

Draco I chuckled quietly at Caroline's new friend and walked back to my 'dressing room'. The guy on the keyboard didn't follow me 'cause I could still hear him playing down the hall. I changed out of the suit and into my normal clothes, putting the suit into what I assumed to be a washing basket as it had other items of clothes in it. I made sure I had everything with me because the place was pretty dodgy and who knows what kind of people were wandering around the place. I left the room and went back out to the reception area where another couple (a drunk and a prostitute, judging from their appearance) were waiting. I stood near the doors to wait, trying to keep as far away from them as possible.

Caroline As I slipped my jumper on, I glanced at my arm. My left one, the side where you could feel the pulse the best. I felt my breath catch for a moment, but it passed. It was just a scar now. Really, if I thought about it, it had only been the darkest shade of ink for a month -- if even that long. I quickly slipped on my jeans and trainers, exiting from behind the screen. "Well...I guess, everything's done." I couldn't help myself -- I hugged Melody. she'd been a great help all night. "Thank you," I said quietly, pulling back and beaming at her. "Owl me. We should keep in touch, you're lovely." Melody grinned and nodded, then gestured to a maroon door behind her. "That goes to the lobby, he should be out there by now." I laughed again and thanked her, suddenly rushing to leave. We'd gotten married. We'd done it. I felt so happy, I almost wanted to burst. I saw Draco, standing by the doors and looking oh-so-awkward, but also oh-so-adorable. My heart almost hurt.

Draco I looked up when I heard a door open and Caroline stepped out into the lobby. I grinned at her across the room and took her hand when she reached me. We'd actually gotten married and we were Husband and Wife. It was the best thing I'd ever felt. "Where are we going to go now?" I asked, smiling down at her.

Caroline I looked at him, shook my head and grinned. "I don't really care," i said, laughing as I leaned into him slightly. "But..." I started, biting my lip, "could we stop by my house again?"

Draco I nodded. "Sure. Might I ask what for?" I said, leading her out of Bordericks House of Love and to the broom rack outside where I'd left my Firebolt. To be honest, I was surprised it hadn't been stolen, but I hadn't really been thinking of that when we were going into the place where I was going to marry Caroline. I unshackled my broom and climbed on, waiting for Caroline to get on too. I was slightly curious as to why she wanted to go back to her home. She'd already said goodbye to her family, wouldn't returning again only make things more painful when she said goodbye for a second time?

Caroline "I..." I paused as I got onto the broom behind Draco. "Dad didn't seem so convinced that we would actually do it, earlier. I don't want him to start lying to himself about us. It's not fair to Sara, or mum, or him, or anybody. I want him to know we actually did it, that we actually got married," I said quietly, wrapping my arms around his torso and laying my head on his back.
