Summer Air and Sandy Hair <3

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I noticed her hesitate a little,"That seat isn't taken,"I said smiling. I was about to ask her something but I was interrupted.
"Hey J,"Emily said as she slid up into my desk crossing her too tan leg and flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder.
I sighed,"Hi Emily,"I said already irritated by her. I noticed Emily threw a nasty glare at Marly.

Marly
I sat down and gave Emily a tentative smile, pretty sure that for some reason, she already didn't like me because she happened to be glares holes through my skull. I awkwardly looked away to the front board, doodling in my notebook and trying to ignore the urge to cry or something that would be equally stupid.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
"Are we still on for tonight?"Emily asked with a smile as she placed her hand on my shoulder.
I held back a cringe and dropped my shoulder so her hand would fall. "I have no idea what you're talking about,"I said loosing my patients.
Emily pouted her lip,"Oh come on. Just one,"she said.
I shook my head and shooed her away with my hand,"Desperate much,"I muttered under my breath, loud enough for Marly to hear.

Marly
I gave him a somewhat forced smile. So he was one of those guys. And his little "desperate much" comment sent a little drop into the pit of my stomach. Was I seeming desperate, asking him where to go and sitting beside him and all that? I continued looking away, doodling on my paper. Emily was gone, but in her wake was my anxiety.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I pulled some paper out and began writing some notes. I noticed Marly was quiet and got angry because Emily always did this. Every time I tried to make friends with a girl it gets ruined because of her. I ran a hand through my hair and let out a frustrated sigh.

Marly
I sighed and bit my lip as I wrote my notes, toying with the end of a strand of my hair. So, what was with him and that Emily girl, anyway? Were they, like together? And why was I thinking about stuff like this anyway, like a jealous girlfriend? It was all rather stupid, and I told myself I needed to shut up, badly.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I headed to lunch with Brandon. "Saw that you've gotten pretty cozy with the new girl,"he said nudging my side. I rolled my eyes,"She looks like she needs a friend,"I said shrugging. I wasnt going to flat out tell him tbat I like her.

Marly
I walked into the cafeteria, very proud of myself for having found the huge room. It was near the office, so I guess it had stuck with me. Anyway, I was kind of hungry...but not really. I moved to the line selling chips and candy and ice cream and stuff and got a bag of Cheetos, and moved to a vending machine to buy a Coke.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I got what I need for lunch; sandwich, chips, and Sprite. I looked around the room for Marly, spotting her at the vending machine. I started towards her, but then slowed my steps. Was I acting too desperate? Did she think I was annoying?

Marly
I sighed happily and smiled at the Coke; caffeine was definitely what I needed right now. I popped the can and took a swig, then looked around the cafeteria for a seat. It was then that I saw Jordan a little way off, just sort of standing there. I immediately smiled and gave him a sort of half wave before my eyes trailed elsewhere, still searching for somewhere to sit.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I smiled back at her, all thoughts immediately leaving my mind. I walked over by her,"Mind if I sit with you today?"I asked with a grin.

Marly
I felt my grin widen a bit and I laughed quietly. "I think in that case, I should be asking you if I can sit with you?"

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I smirked,"It could go either way, we're both asking the same thing,"I said nodding my head towards a table. I didn't really think she'd want to sit with my "friends" considering they're pretty annoying and rude. I sat down and opened my Sprite taking a drink.

Marly
I sat beside him, flabbergasted that we were sitting at an empty table. "You don't have friends you usually sit with?" I asked, truly surprised.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I winced slightly at what she said,"Well, yes. I just don't think you'd like them. I barely like them,"I said with a small shrug. "They're the type of people who judge from first glance; hence when you met Emily,"I said with a shudder. "Sorry about her by the way. She doesn't like the idea of me having girls as friends,"I said with an eyeroll. I looked at Marly with a smile,"She irritates me a lot-"

"Jordan! Are you gonna introduce me to the lovely lady?"Brandon asked as he sat down on the other side of Marly.

I rolled my eyes,"Marly this is Brandon, Brandon this is Marly,"I said taking a bite of my sandwich.
