I smiled at Jordan as his friend came up beside me, letting him know that I acknowledged what he'd said before. I held my hand out to Brandon to shake his own. "Hi, I'm Marly," I said, smiling at this Brandon guy.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I glanced at the two and knew that Brandon was going to try out his moves. Maybe I should tell him about girls I like, maybe then he'd back off.

Brandon took her hand and place a kiss on the back of it,"Brandon, very nice to meet you,"he said giving her a wink with a smirk.

I gripped my Sprite bottle harder and stared at the liquid. I then ran my hand through my hair.

"It's so nice to finally meet you. Jordan here has been keeping you all to his self and I'm quite sad about that. You seem like a charming lady,"he said tilting his head with a smile.

Marly
I felt my smile want to slide off my face, but I didn't want to offend Jordan or anything by being rude to his friends, so I forced it back into place. "Is that, urm, so?" I asked awkwardly, laughing quietly. I did pull my hand away from him and sat it neatly on my lap, though.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I just wanted to be able to talk to Marly,"Hey Brandon? I'll talk with you later,"I said in a dismissive time.
Brandon frowned but nodded,"It was nice meeting you," he said before leaving.

"Sorry about that,"I grumbled before I took another bite of my sandwich.

Marly
I smiled at him, shrugging nonchalantly. "It's alright."

[lauren.]

Jordan;
"He's a nuisance. There's plenty more also. That's one of the reasons I decided to air here. Plus I just want to get to know you better, if you don't mind of course,"I said with a smile.

Marly
I chuckled and shook my head. "Of course I don't mind," I said, smiling at him before eating a Cheeto.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
"Great,"I said as I finished off my sandwich, and started on my chips. "So why'd you move down here to Florida?"I asked raising an eyebrow.

Marly
I withheld a wince and shrugged. "I came to live with my aunt. No particular reason, really," I hedged, not really wanting to get into the whole story of my uncle dying.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I nodded, realizing that she was holding something in. "You'll like Florida. Especially the ocean,"I said grinning. I loved the ocean, I go everyday.

Marly
I smiled at him, grateful that he'd easily bypassed the subject. He also seemed excited about the ocean. I however, was deathly afraid of it. "It's...scary," I said tentatively.

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I raised an eyebrow as I looked down at her,"Wha... nu uh. It's not. Well it's pretty big but if you stay more towards shore it's nice,"I said chewing on the inside of my cheek.

Marly
I gave him a somewhat guilty smile and shrugged. "I've never been really, it just...it's really huge."

[lauren.]

Jordan;
I perked up when she said she's never been,"Well I go every day. Maybe you'd like to go sometime?"I asked hopeful. Maybe today? I thought to myself.

Marly
I looked at him with wide eyes. "Uhm...are you...sure?"
