I stared after her, unable to move. No, that wasn't what I thought at all. She was so wrong. I learned that if you loved something you had to let it go. My head was fuzzy as I felt the anger rising up in me also. I slammed my fist on the desk, smacking a vase off the desk as it shattered to the floor.

Valarie,
I walked into our room...Giovanni's room, looking around as the tears fell quickly down my face. I grabbed what I had brought to this house and putting it into a suitcase. I wasn't going to take anything he had bought me or given me. I don't want to remember, anything. I knew that was impossible but that's what I was going to tell myself. I sunk to the floor, tears wrecking through my body.

Giovanni,
I knew that we were going to keep our distances until tomorrow, but what I really just wanted was to hold her. She wouldn't dare let me touch her now. I stared at the shattered pieces of the vase on the floor, shutting my eyes to keep the tears from coming out. I was losing the only girl I loved, and it was all my fault.

Valarie,
Stop crying. You knew this was going to happen. He relies on his parents too much. You should have known he wouldn't drop everything. I'm so stupid. I placed my hand against my heart as my chest hurt. I needed air, I was having a panic attack. I closed my eyes tightly trying to get air to my lungs.

I walked out of my office and heard Valarie's small cries. "God what have I done?" I said to myself as I chewed on my cheek. I couldn't talk to her. She wouldn't listen. I slowly made my way to the doorway of my room, seeing her on the floor. "Valarie..." I said quietly.

Valarie,
I looked over at him frantically, shaking my head,"I...."I swallowed,"I...can't.....breathe.."I managed to get out. Everything was going wrong. I was, sadly, hoping for a life with Gio. That everything would work out and now I'm going back to New York. To nothing. Oh God. I gripped my throat, completely freaked out as I tried to gulp air into my lungs.

Giovanni,
I noticed that she wasn't being irrational, but rather quite serious. "Oh my god, Valarie," I said, rushing over to her as I picked her up and put her on my lap. "Please just breathe, you need to calm down," I said as I took her face in my hands. "Please Valarie." She couldn't do this to me, I was already crushed enough.

Valarie,
I tried to control my breathing but tried not to take comfort into his care. I shook my head as I closed my eyes tightly, blocking out his voice as I focused on my breathing. This was all too much, how could this have happened?

Giovanni,
I watched her try to calm her breathing as I felt tears forming on my eyelids. I told myself I wouldn't cry, but I was going against what I said. I pulled her into a tight hug, not caring if she fought. I just wanted to hold her. I loved her so much.

Valarie,
I breathe in deeply, my hypervenilating turning into sobs. I tried pushing away from him but he held me tight. "This is just making it worse,"I sobbed out as I pushed against his chest again.

Giovanni,
"Please just stop fighting Valarie. I don't want to end like this. I love you too much." I said as I stray tear slid down my cheek. "You have to understand." Hell, I didn't even understand.

[lauren.]

Valarie,
"No!"I screamed as he said those words that sent pain through my heart. "You don't. You can't. Not if you're sending me away, you're saying you don't want me,"I said as I continued to fight against him.

Giovanni,
I finally let go of her, tired of her fighting against me. "Valarie. I want to be with you so bad, I really do!" I practically yelled as more tears streamed down my face. "I just can't leave! I...I'm afraid okay!" I added as I stared at her in defeat.

[lauren.]

Valarie,
I saw the tears run down his face, somewhat shocked. "Don't you think I'm scared too?"I said as I removed myself from him and got off the floor. "You say you want to be with me but you don't want me,"I said shaking my head. "Maybe I should just leave now. It would be better,"I said holding in the many more tears that I have as I quickly grabbed what was mine when I first came to this country.

Giovanni,
I didn't even know what to say. She was right. But I wanted her so bad. But I couldn't. It was too difficult, living with a family like mine and her being so far away. I wanted her to leave so my heart wouldn't break anymore when I saw her face. But I knew the moment she left I would be broken more than ever. "Valarie." Was all I said, feeling exhausted.
