"You dress how ever you would like. Just don't wear pajamas," I said with a smirk. "I'll see you at six, Valarie." I told her.

[lauren.]

Valarie;
I nodded,"Alright, see you then,"I said as I quickly made my way out of the store. What have I gotten myself into?

Giovanni,
I was already at the restaurant, waiting for Valarie. I had on a button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and my nicest jeans. I wasn't going to dress up fancy, because she needed to see that I wasn't always trying to be cocky and rich.

[lauren.]

Valarie;
I didn't know what to wear so I settled for some jeans and a nice flowing dark green top. I had my hair curled slightly and flats on. I felt stupid for dressing nice for him. I walked to the restaurant and glanced around, looking for Giovanni.

[haileyjordan]

Giovanni,
My eyes caught Valarie as I smiled and headed over to her. "I'm very glad you made it," I told her as I led her to our table. I held out her chair for her, then sat down in mine. "You look lovely Valarie," I told her.

[lauren.]

Valarie;
I gave a small smile, nothing more to show I'm interested. But I did flush slightly as he held out my chair for me. I glanced around,"This looks expensive,"I murmured as I glanced over at him.

Giovanni,
I shook my head, "Don't worry about that," I told her. After the waiter came and gave us our drinks I took a sip, then looked at her. "So what inspired you to come to Italy?" I asked.

[lauren.]

Valarie;
I took my time answering as I took a drink of my drink. "Well I just wanted to start traveling and everyone says Italy is where to start first. So that's what I'm doing. Plus I really love this country,"I said glancing at him but then looked away.

[haileyjordan]

Giovanni,
I smiled softly, "You made a good choice," I told her. "I've really never traveled much. I've always wanted to visit America," I admitted. It was hard for me to just escape everything and relax, that wasn't how I was raised.

[lauren.]

Valarie;
I raised an eyebrow,"America isn't all that great,"I said looking at my drink. I looked at him,"Why America?"I asked.

Giovanni,
"Because it seems as if everyone loosens up there. Like everything isn't about work and get paid. People actually live their lives how they want to," I told her. People in Italy were too uptight and always caught up in work.

[lauren.]

Valarie;
I laughed slightly,"It maybe freedom and all but not really. Especially when you start living on your own,"I said frowning slightly. "Then it becomes all about work and trying just to pay your bills,"I said shaking my head slightly. There's some memories I'd rather not talk about.

[haileyjordan]

Giovanni,
"I know how that feels all too well," I told her. "Sometimes growing up sucks." I wished I was younger, when times were much simpler, and I never had to deal with anything complicated. "I guess no matter where you are you'll always be dissatisfied with something."

[lauren.]

Valarie;
I nodded as I stared at him. Okay, there's a side of him that you don't see but I'm not quite sure I want to get attached to anyone. I'll be leaving in probably two months.

Giovanni,
We ordered our food and it arrived shortly after. "Enjoy," I told her with a smile before I began eating mine. I knew that she was still uneasy about all of this, which I don't blame her. "Where were you born?" I asked her.
