Giovanni,
I watched her emotions as my heart sunk. "But will you? Valarie be honest with me please." I said softly. I felt like bricks were piled up on my chest as I looked at her gorgeous face. What the hell was wrong with me for letting her slip through my fingers?

[lauren.]

Valarie,
I took a deep breathe in,"No, I won't. But I'll figure it out. I have to go,"I said looking at him once more before turning around and walking away. How can he do this? This isn't fair at all. I felt tears fall slowly down my cheeks as that wound slowly began to open.

Giovanni,
Being the stubborn guy I was, I wasn't going to let her go that easily. I quickly followed after her again, not really caring how she felt. "But what if you don't Valarie?" I asked, seeing the tears I was all too familiar with. "Please just let me pay for your bills. I owe you that at the least." I owed her everything.

[lauren.]

Valarie,
I wiped my tears away as I glowered at him,"I don't need your charity. I don't need you,"I said shaking my head. There's always the thought of me not having anywhere to go. That's scary but I'll make it through. I always do...except I haven't throughout being away from him.

Giovanni,
I sighed, knowing she was going to be very stubborn. "I'm always here for you Valarie. I know I screwed up and I was a jerk, but I never stopped loving you and I never will." I said softly before I stopped walking next to her. I turned on my heel and walked the other direction, feeling as if I was leaving her all over again.

[lauren.]

Valarie,
I felt my breathing kick off again just like my panic attack I had in his room the day I left. I gripped my shirt as I turned to watch him walk away. "If you love me like you say you do then where were you the past months? Why haven't you tried getting me back?"I called after him, as my hand rested underneath my throat.

Giovanni,
I stopped in my tracks as she called after me. I turned back around to look at her. "Because I knew you didn't want anything to do with me. I was giving you space. I didn't think you would ever want to hear from me again." I told her. When someone told me to stay away, I did.

Valarie,
I stared at him, feeling lightheaded. All I could hear right now was my rapid breathing. Why the hell did he have to come and interfere again? I blinked multiple times trying to figure out what I was going to say. This isn't fair. He's blindsided me once again. Being the stubborn man he is, it doesn't sound right that he stayed away.

Giovanni,
I watched her stare at me, not speaking. "I only did it to keep you from getting hurt. I already hurt you bad enough. I didn't want to hurt you again." I said, my voice lower now.

[lauren.]

Valarie,
"How would you have hurt me again? By making me fall for you all over again and then ripping all my insides out once again?"I asked shaking my head. I wanted to throw things at him, curse at him, hit him. But I also wanted to run into his arms, hold him, kiss him.

Giovanni,
"I would never hurt you again. I'd rather die than see you how you were again. I was a wreck knowing what I had caused. I never said for you to take me back. I just want you to know how I feel, Valarie." I told her, taking a step forward.

[lauren.]

Valarie,
I stared at him as the tears finally broke loose,"What are you doing here? In America? In New York, New York if all the places you could have gone? Why here?"I asked,

Giovanni,
I shrugged, "I had always wanted to come to America. I guess I was just called here, but now I know why." I said softly as I looked into her eyes. "I can't stay away from you Valarie."

[lauren.]

Valarie,
I breathed in deeply as I looked down at the ground. I didn't know what to do! I want to see him go far away and never find me again....but I know that if I tell him to leave me alone, he will. Forever. And I don't think I can handle that. "I don't know what to do,"I said quietly.

Giovanni,
"I understand," I nodded. "Maybe you should just think about things Valarie. You know how to reach me." I said as I turned around again. I was so afraid she would never reach me again, but I just wanted to believe she would.
