I kissed Tessa's forehead,"We'll be back in a little bit,"I said ruffling her hair again before following Alaska back to the bedroom. I let out a sigh of relief when I shut the door,"Im glad that worked out,"I said.

"I guess you're right. The older she gets the more situations she'll be faced with," I said softly as I slid my arms around his neck. It was weird to think that I would watch her grow up; I liked it though.

I smiled softly before I gently slid my shirt over my head. I was still sore, but it was healing; that's all I wanted. I chewed on my cheek. I just wanted so bad to sleep with Kolton, but I knew he wouldn't agree to it until I was healed.

I grabbed the medicine to spread over her cuts. I knew they didn't hurt as bad as they use to but I didn't want to cause her any pain at all. "It's looking better,"I murmured as I concentrated.

I curled up on the couch, a book in my hand. I took up reading as a hobby after I stopped dancing. I never wanted to stop, but it opened up to many wounds. Tessa was seventeen by now, and everything seemed to have moved so quickly.

I just walked through the front door, from work, to see Alaska reading. Again. She hasn't danced in ten years. She tried but it didn't work. I breathed in as I shut the door behind me,"Reading again?"I asked as I loosened my tie and took it off.

I came out of our bedroom in a dark red, form fitting dressing. My hair cascaded down my back in spiral curls. I had on nude pumps and a small diamond necklace. "You ready?" I asked him with a smile.

I turned around, the wind nearly getting knocked out of me by the sight of her. My eyes looked her up and down approvingly,"I feel a little underdressed with you looking so beautiful,"I said my eyes meeting hers. Me being boring in dark jeans, black dress shoes, button up white shirt, red tie, and a black suit jacket.
