Ridley.
I had been in Oplin for about a week now. I've made a few acquaintances but not any potential good friends yet. I like most of my classes strangely but I like school. But of course nobody knows that here due to I'm starting out new. I want to make a new start and not be known as the good girl that doesn't do anything fun. I held my books against my chest as I walked down the hallway in my white lacey dress & brown sandels, my hair up in a cute messy bun.

Gavin,
I had my eye on the new girl ever since she stepped foot here. I saw her walking in my direction, causing a smug smirk to form on my face. I shut my locker, walking over to her. I slid my arm around her shoulders, smelling heavily of smoke and alcohol. "Hey babe," I murmured to her. "It looks like you're in need of some friends." I grinned.

Ridley.
I instantly cringed as his arm wrapped aroun my shoulder and his smell hit me. I've heard about him. The reject. The bay boy of the town. Why the hell would he want to talk to me? I slid out from under his arm, moving away from him. "Um, no I'm fine. Thanks,"I said as I began hurrying down the hallway.

Gavin,
I wasn't letting her off the hook that easy. I raised my eyebrow, then followed after her. "Where do you think you're going?" I asked. "You don't just walk away from me." I glanced around at the kids, giving me cold stares. They made it seem as though I was something so amazing to stare at. "Well I've heard that you're pretty much at outcast, so I'm not saying to need to take up my offer right now, but I highly suggest getting to know the odds and ends of this school from me." I shrugged, "If you need to find me, I'm sure someone can easily give you the way." I kept it simple before I walked a little bit ahead of her. You always gotta keep them wondering.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I pursed my lips as I watche him walk away in front of me,"What makes you think I'm an outcast? Because I'm not,"I said holding my books tighter to my chest. Who did he think he was? I wouldn't want to find him. He wasn't someone to get caught up with and you could see it easily.

Gavin,
I turned around to stop her dead in her tracks. "If you're not an outcast, then why are you alone? Why is no one coming up to you? I beg to differ, babe." I said. "I'm Gavin by the way. Like I said, don't be afraid to take me up on my offer." I stared into her eyes before I turned around again.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I frowned as I stared at his back,"I maybe be alone right now but I have had people talking to me. I'm not an outcast,"I said as I completely past him now, pushing past him. He can't just think I'm a loner by seeing me by myself. I'm new, give me a break.

Gavin,
I smirked as I eyed her hurrying off. She'd be back. They always did. You just had to give it time. Thankfully, I was blessed with patience. I looked around at others around me, their heads quickly turning the moment we made eye contact. What I knew for sure was that that girl needed to lose the innocent look, and I was just the guy to do it.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I couldn't believe the nerves that guy had. Seriously? I'm not like some hooker you get off the street. I had a few people stop me in the hallway to ask if I was okay, which I nodded and smiled. I stopped at my locker to exchange my books. Only one more class and I would be out of here and away from him. I glanced back down the hallway to where Gavin stood.

Gavin,
I flashed her a smile before I turned on my heel, storming through the crowd of kids who quickly steered cleared of my way.

(skipping to after school!)
Kids were scattered around the front of the school. I didn't really enjoy going home so I loitered around a lot, causing me to get in trouble. I pulled a cigarette out of my back pocket, lighting it up. I leaned against the wall, eyeing the kids around me. I was planning on seeing that girl again.

Ridley.
I was relieved that I could leave the school now. Usually I like being at school but.. It's different being in a small town where everybody watches your every moves and judges your actions. I pulled my backpack strap over my shoulder and headed outside. It was a nice day outside to walk but it smelt like rain was on its way. I pulled my sunglasses down over my eyes as I walked down the steps of the school to head home.

Gavin,
Out of the corner of my eye I got sight of her. I smirked, taking a drag on my cigarette before I pushed off the wall. "You're really trying to go unnoticed aren't you?" I asked with a chuckle. I was next to her in a second. Yeah, she was hot. I stood tall, how I always did. I always portrayed myself as the dominant one.

Ridley.
I groaned quietly so he couldn't hear,"Would you please leave me alone. I'd like to walk home in peace,"I said not looking at him. If you ignored them then they'd leave you alone...right? I would like to go unnoticed from him then life would be just grand an I wouldn't be getting strange looks from everyone who I walked by.
