"Never better," I replied casually. Though that was one of the biggest lies I told people. I stopped rubbing my wrists, I didn't want her questioning me. It made me nervous. "What do you do in your free time? If you don't mind me asking these questions."

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I didn't believe him one bit but I let it slide because I don't know him. "I read, run, dance, write,"I shrugged. "Nothing fantastic. I stay more to myself than go out or anything,"I said biting my lip as I tugged at my sweater. "What about you?"I asked looking at him.

Gavin,
I couldn't help but laugh a little bit. "I really don't think you want to know," I said, rubbing the back of my neck. If she was uncomfortable with me now...she'd never talk to me again. "But if you push aside everything I'd rather not share with you, I box. It's the biggest stress reliever for me." It was my only escape.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I raised an eyebrow,"Like beat people up?"I asked. I didn't know much about the violent activities. MMA, WWE, Wrestling, Boxing. It was all the same to me. Though thinking that he does do that is kind of hot. My eyes widened at the thought. Rid, knock it off. Don't even think about it. I felt my cheeks flush but I hope it wasn't noticeable.

Gavin,
I shrugged, "I guess you can say that. But we're all there for the same reason, so we don't consider it beating each other up. It's a sport that we all love. It's freedom," I said, looking down. Wow, why the hell was I even beginning to open up to this girl I barely even knew? I had already said too much.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
"Freedom? Don't you get angry when someone hits you though?"I asked. It's something that I guess I'd have to try to figure out what it's like. I realized I was asking a lot of questions. I cleared my throat as I sat up a little straighter,"Sorry for all the questions,"I said blushing slightly.

Gavin,
I smiled softly, "I don't mind," I said softly. "Sure, I get mad as hell." She didn't know the half of it. The only reason I got mad was because of how I was treated at home. "But having the ability to hit back, that gives me the satisfaction. It makes me feel like I have the power to do something."

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I had a feelings there was more behind his words but I didn't say anything. I finally glanced up at the crowd and was thankful to see not everybody was watching us. "Do you always have this much attention?"I asked giving a small smile. Okay, so maybe he wasn't so bad. I liked hearing him talk about something he's passionate about. It's like he's a whole different person from when we first met.

Gavin,
I smirked, "Not really, it seems like you're the star of the commotion today. I was at first, but people get over things really quickly here. Once someone knows who you are, they either choose to steer clear of you or worship you at your feet. I'm the one they steer clear of."

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I pursed my lips,"Well it doesn't seem like I'm in either of those categories?"I said chewing on my bottom lip. I didn't like attention, at all. It made me fidget, which now that I thought about it made me start once again. "What happens if they do both, but not technically ster clear or bow at your feet?"I asked looking at him.

Gavin,
I thought about her question for a moment, "Well it seems to me that you're normal. That's the best you can be out here. I'd kill to be normal." I said, rubbing my face. "Some are just more lucky than others."

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I watched him, curious,"Well normal isn't all that great you know,"I said shrugging. "It might sound cheesy but we all have that unique thing about us. Some people find it revolting and some find it praise worthy,"I said sighing. "Though I can tell you I don't like it here from the mindset of people." Though I was guilty of that too, judging Gavin earlier on without getting to know him. "I am sorry about that,"I said flushing.

Gavin,
"I tend to not even acknowledge it anymore. I get it all the time, it becomes a daily thing, you know? I'm at fault as well for acting like I'm some bad ass who can do whatever the hell he wants." I shrugged. "I may sound pessimistic but I really don't have anything unique about me. I've never had an experience to figure it out, anyways." I didn't get the life normal kids did. I never went to fairs, or played sports, or just ran around. It was constant fear.

Ridley.
I listened quietly to him speak,"Well why not? I mean you act like a bad ass,"I said smirking slightly,"So go do things you want to do,"I said shrugging. "And I'm beyond sure that you have something unique about you,"I said smiling at him,"You just have to find it."

Gavin,
"Oh I wish it were that easy Ridley, but you don't know the half of it," I said with a sigh. "Maybe I'll find it eventually, but it's going to be a while." I chewed on the inside of my cheek, "I'm really surprised you're still here, honestly."
