Gavin,
I couldn't help but laugh, "I think you're very reserved. Maybe you don't like to try to get to know people? I wouldn't judge a book by it's cover," I said, shaking my head. I blew a few rings, glancing over at her.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
"I'm not judging a book by it's cover,"I said giving a cough and waving the smoke rings away. "I've been told you do not make good choices and I do not need that. Especially starting out in a new town,"I said crossing my arms. I just wanted to be home, away from him. I sighed quietly.

Gavin,
I raised an eyebrow, "Now who would tell you that?" I asked, sarcastically making it seem like I wasn't aware. "Goody two shoes are you now?" Perfect. They were always the easiest to break.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I made a disgusted face. There was that term again "good girl." Always what I was called back where I used to live an I hated it, still to this day. I glared at him,"Don't call me that. And leave me alone,"I said walking faster. It's just my luck, having someone who is a total screw up try to get at me.

Gavin,
Oh she was a determined one. "You only hate it because it's true," I called to her. "You don't like it? Change it. It's really that simple." I took another long drag. The more people thought of her that way the more it would upset her.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I stopped crossing my arms,"I don't want to be like you though if that's what you're getting at. I just want to be Ridley. Not Miss Goody-too-shoes,"I said rolling my eyes. I stared at the cigarette in between his fingers,"You know you'll die from that right,"I stated instead of a question. Plus the smell was horrid.

Gavin,
I smirked at her comment, "You obviously don't know much about me," I said. "I smoke to die, babe." I took another long drag. "Plus I never said you had to be like me."

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I shook my head,"Well technically me hanging out with you is a death wish of people thinking I'm like you,"I said shaking my head. "And why would you want to die?"I asked. Smoke to die? That's horrible.

Gavin,
I shook my head, "We all die sometime right? Some people want to live as long as possible, well not me. I figure if you have nothing to live for it ain't worth it." I shrugged. I was surprised she was talking to me this long.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I frowned,"That's sad. You shouldn't live like that. Why not find something worth living for?"I asked raising an eyebrow. Why was I still tlking to him? Especially out where everyone can see us. Ohh, my parents were going to have a fit!

Gavin,
"It's not sad to me. We all live how we want to live, and that's how I'm living my life." I had a smirk on my face the whole time. "I've live seventeen years this way, I don't mind living seventeen more years the same way." She was the curious type.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I raised an eyebrow,"You've lived seventeen years smoking?"I asked crossing my arms. "I highly doubt that,"I said shaking my head. "And do you just go after any girl you see?"

Gavin,
I laughed, "That's not what I meant." I said. "I mean I've lived seventeen years with nothing to live for. And no, believe me. I'm picky." I stared into her eyes. I didn't just chase after any girl. I went towards the ones I knew I could mold.

[lauren.]

Ridley.
I couldn't help but stare back into his eyes. They were for sure gorgeous but I would never admit that out loud. I ran a hand over my arm,"Well you shouldn't be trying to do whatever you're trying to do with me,"I said shaking my head. I don't even know why I was still talking to him. I began walking again just wanting to be home already.

"I'm not trying to do anything Ridley. It's only a friendly invitation." I said to her back before I turned myself, walking the other direction. Getting her to talk to me was one step. Now it was only waiting.
